Early days re reliability but does as expected. Needs some reformatting for iMac and instructions not totally up to date but you can work it out reasonably easily.
Now I have to do it manually daily.:-(
I bought this hard disk few days ago.Big issue with transfer rate: the rate goes down to 0kb/s and stucks there then it goes up and again down...Discussed with seagate support (by the way they are very good). The agent quickly understood the issue, made me make some checks. Then he recommanded for disk replacement.Got new one from elgiganten (thanks elgiganten). Now i'm testing this new one and time will judge...
Tried many 8TB external drives for PS4 Pro, every model with usb hub or encryption wasn't recognized by console so my last shot was this Seagate model and... Works flawlessly. Got a second one for Xbox One X this december since there are no issues with HDD :)
The transfer speed is pretty good. The frostplate finish looks neat. Lets see how it holds up in long term. Quite satisfied at the moment.
Good Points: - Quiet- Easy to set up- EconomicalImprovement Points: - Came with about 5 different power adaptor attachments, which are difficult to recycle.
