What a little whizzer. Rode first day. amazing. 2nd day I had issues (blonde ones) It wouldn't go fast, I couldn't see the manual instructions on the actual scooter itself, and the manual it comes with is just for setting it up. IT REALLY NEEDS TO COME WITH A SEPARATE USER MANUAL FOR USE . After a week of feeling really sad about it, talking to the segway people on the app. I was giving it one last crack. So the display on the scooter was off, and that's when I read the crucial instructions for the speed control. As soon as I saw an ECO on there the week prior after riding ( was not there on initial start up) I knew it was a setting. Well, I finally found it. So switched between the speed settings and away she went. I'm happy now. Great little purchase and saves me ...Ā MoreWhat a little whizzer. Very stable and easy to setup. The speed and 15% gradeability is well suited. Great deal for the price. The scooter goes 25km/h at D and S mode and 15km/h at ECO mode. I normally use D mode but ECO is great when you want to reduce speed around people or in busier areas. S mode promotes better acceleration to 25km/h and offers better climbing speed. The braking is also very good, with less than 1 second of reaction time and often very smooth and no jerking. Using the Segway app you can setup Cruise Control and see your statistics. The only downside is that you cannot adjust/limit the speed using the mobile app.

This is a great scooter, especially for the price. The power and energy is amazing for my 200+lb roommate. Of course when you go up hill, it takes a lot of power and will minimize the distance you can travel. When I take this on sidewalks, 15mph feels fine, but on the road I wish for at least 2 more mph. This thing feels a little slow sometimes. If you have the extra money, I would much more recommend the faster scooter. This one isn't bad, but I just wish it could go faster and further. I'm enjoying it, but I do wish I had more money and got the big brother.

I bought this a week ago as a present for myself. I work from home but like to get out for lunch just to get away from the screens. I live in an urban area that is dense with options within a mile or so from my house. Getting my car out to go to lunch always seemed a bit of overkill but sometimes walking took too long, enter the scooter.I've put about 16 miles on it in the first week, sometimes going somewhere specific, sometimes just cruising the neighborhood. I have literally no complaints. It is easy to operate, and at 15 mph zips me to and from my destination. Given the need to park my car I'd say the scooter is an even faster option for getting around the hood. The build quality is excellent, and I should add that I'm at the very top end of its payload range. ...Ā MoreI bought this a week ago as a present for myself. The build quality is excellent, and I should add that I'm at the very top end of its payload range. My extra heft does mean faster battery use, but even on longer rides I make it home with battery to spare. I did a 6 mile ride the other day through my hilly neighborhood in sport mode and still had 40% battery left at the end. Yes that means I'll never get near the advertised 18 mile range, but I don't care. For my purposes this is perfect. A smaller person would have much greater range.
Iām a father of five children. I have bought many electric scooters over the past 10 years and me weighing 215lbs this bad boy is fast hits top speed no problem. Reminds me of the pick up like an electric car meaning It just goes with zero hesitation. Built like an old Cadillac meaning itās solid construction but has the brains of a Volvo X90 T8 or Mercedes if you will. Now I didnāt buy for myself but out of all the scooters in my garage this is the one I grab to get the mail or just cruise around with my kids if my son isnāt riding it of course. Even comes with an extra 10 inch full size tire! Must down load the app on phone to take full advantage of any of the Segway products. You can adjust the lights and speed on the app and track movement etc. If you download the Segway app my sons user name is TylersRidez and can see pictures and videos in posting section. Very cool well built scooter which Iām sure will last a long time. Thank you Amazon for making purchase easy! Had delivered in one day as advertised. All around great experience. Will upload videos of scooter soon but for size I uploaded a picture of scooter next to my GMC Yukon XL. Itās a beast!
Fun scooter. Unfortunately, Iāve struggled changing the rear tire. More unfortunate is that I cannot find anywhere that sales new tires for my F30s. The scooter is pure joy, and I have bought 2 F30ās. But, Iāve had multiple flats and worn the tires out (including the spares). I can easily pull off the back tire (have done that several times). Iāve been scratching my head the last few hours trying to figure out how to remove the front tire. It seems like when I called customer service, they informed me they had no replacement tires in stock.
I bought this to go about twelve miles to work after I started having seizures and had my license taken away (since you have to be 90 days seizure free to get your license back). My first impressions were this is pretty nice looking and would fit my purposes perfectly even if I have to take more time to get to work...boy was I wrong. The best this is for is to get to bus stops as if I am facing ANY headwinds this slows down to a paltry 7-8 MPH sometimes not even that (and even crosswinds will slow me down to 10-12 mph). I am a guy of 185 lbs I would think that the motor in this would have enough torque to push against the wind and keep going a little more than it does. The stated maximum 18 miles on a full charge is a laugh because at best all I have ever gotten was ...Ā MoreI bought this to go about twelve miles to work after I started having seizures and had my license taken away (since you have to be 90 days seizure free to get your license back). I am a guy of 185 lbs I would think that the motor in this would have enough torque to push against the wind and keep going a little more than it does. The stated maximum 18 miles on a full charge is a laugh because at best all I have ever gotten was ten miles on a charge meaning no matter what I either walk two miles or take a bus which negates the purpose of buying this to just get to work without any more costs than maintenance. I don't dare use the built in lights out of worry that I will loose even more distance by doing so. Going uphill is also a laugh as I have to walk this up 90% of the hills here in Las Vegas (and there are not that many 15+ degree hills). I insist as a company you should be real with what you can expect from this product. If you must be around 100 lbs to get the stated performance say so. Do not be disingenuous and say the maximum rider weight...or if you do state expected performance. The rotor on the disc brake is poor at best as I have had to change it twice due to getting so bent it locks the rear wheel (while I accept some responsibility as I may have banged it somewhere something more durable would be nice). The plastic on the scooter is SOFT! Trying to do any repairs ends up making scratches and pits in the plastic (little extraction holes would have been nice not to cause so much damage trying to get out the caps around the wheels). So if you only need this to go short distances and you weigh very little, sure this probably would work out ok. If you are an adult that plans to use this in the real world, don't go with the F30 or anything smaller for sure. My experience with Segway's marketing makes me think even their Ninebot Max wouldn't perform anywhere near what is advertised. My next scooter will be another company, period.
After using the F30 for three weeks almost every day in boston to commute to work the battery life is about 6 miles max. I use it ināDā mode going to work and āSā mode coming home. The eco mode is painfully slow at 10 mph. I have a very slight grade on a small section on the trip and the scooter, on its own, can only go 13 mph. But when I help by pushing with one foot it gets back up to 15 mph. The max speed. For me I donāt need to go faster. The build is fine. But the rear disk rotor did warp at some point, and I never dropped it, so that is very fragile. The light is fine. I got the F 30 because of the weight to battery life ratio. I have a 2 mile commute so with a stated 18 miles I thought I would have no problems. Not true. I left for work the other day with 80% battery and almost ran out of battery life coming home. I had to assist the scooter with one foot to keep the speed up and the battery indicator was blinking red on the last bar. So if you have a longer comment than 2 mile and want to make side trips before recharging donāt get this.

I purchased 4 of these Segway's 2 years ago. All of them need new tires already. Some just went flat for no reason and the others just didn't hold up. I can NOT find anyone to replace the tires! One of them I had to throw in the trash because it was making a very loud high pitch noise which I assume was a faulty battery. This noise went on non stop for 2 weeks. I couldn't find anyone willing to replace the flat tires. Segway told me I was out of luck with any type of warranty or repair center close to Englewood, FL. Don't waste your money on a product that has no capable repair centers and does not back their products!
