I also use a special toothbrush I came across by accident, the one made by Supersmile, a bit more expensive that the regular drugstore brands, but so worth it. 3 minutes with a good toothbrush, the water pick most importantly Sensodyne toothpaste does it every time. The consistency of the toothpaste is pleasant, not gritty like some which promise to deeply clean your teeth, but all they do is strip your teeth of the enamel they need to prevent cavities. Using Sensodyne you don’t have to worry about stripping the enamel because it’s gentle yet very effective. I like the different flavors too, like this one I was given by Influenster is mint it tastes divine, but not overpowering. I also like the fact that the tube is sealed, so it’s tamper proof that the expiration date is right on the box (see picture). Toothpaste is a stockpile staple for me, so the expiration date matters. All together Sensodyne is a 10 star product to me I’m not just saying this because I got a tube free of charge. I used Sensodyne long before this. Yes, it does cost a little more than your average toothpaste, but for someone with super sensitive teeth it’s a product you cannot do without. I used Sensodyne years ago – there was only one variety then. Now, my dentist has advised me use it again for my gums. I was amazed and confused that there are now 13 varieties! I spent at least an hour trying to fathom out the difference between them all. Do they think they can promote sales with more and more varieties? I just find it confusing and annoying. If I buy the cheapest variety do I not get any gum care at all? Do I really have to pay £1.50 more to get a variety that cares for my gums? .And, what about all those other features in the other varieties – do I not get the benefit of any of those in the cheapest variety? A toothpaste is for cleaning your teeth after which you spit it out, so, with such short contact with the teeth, I can’t see that the proclaimed additional, fancy properties can have much effect.After pondering all this for ages, I bought the expensive variety for gums and then, after pondering it all again when I returned on another occasion, I bought the gum variety once more, only to realise that there confusingly 2 varieties for gums – the first, mint tasting and the second that is supposed to whiten your teeth. The whitening variety that I bought the second time tastes unpleasant but, at that price, I’ll bear it till the tube runs out but avoid it next time. Or, shall I just buy the cheapest tube?
