I love this product and this has been the only brand toothpaste I have used for the last few years. There are a variety of types in this range and they all work for me really well.. I have teeth sensitivity and this toothpaste really does work and greatly reduces my teeth sensitivity, whilst keeping my mouth clean and fresh. My partner now uses this brand too and also has positive results. This really is a great product for anyone who has sensitive teeth.. I use this twice a day and I'm very happy with sensodyne! It's a great brand!

Avoid at all costs!

Started using this product this week. I have had a massive reaction to the SLS in the product. My mouth is very ulcerated and my upper lip is extremely swollen…..I look as if I’ve had a punch in the face. Luckily I managed to see my dentist today and having considered possibilities for my problem have concluded I’m allergic to the SLS in this toothpaste.I am extremely disappointed to find Sensodyne even state on their website that such reactions can occur. As a company priding themselves on solutions for sensitive mouth and teeth I would have thought they would avoid using chemicals that can actually cause these problems and worse! Disappointed doesn’t come any where near describing how I feel!

Comfortable for the most sensitive gums

I was originally scheduled to have a dental cleaning on March 30 and had been experiencing gum pain related to the need for a thorough cleaning. Due to world events, that visit was canceled, but luckily the stars aligned, and I received a tube of this Sensodyne toothpaste. Desperate for any remedy to alleviate some of the pain, but also doubtful anything apart from a dental visit would really work, I quickly broke it out of its box and replaced the toothpaste I'd been using. What a difference! From day one I was able to brush my teeth and gums without grimacing halfway through and it's made my extended wait period for my next dental visit more than tolerable. Great toothpaste, annoying side effect

Good toothpaste, but look out for side effects.I've switched between a few whitening toothpastes and only the Sensodyne brand seems to have this effect on me.A few minutes after using this toothpaste, a layer of skin from the inside of my mouth peels off, at first I thought it was just the toothpaste coagulating my spit, but then I spat some out and realised that it's a thin layer of skin. Rubbing my tongue along the inside of my mouth between my bottom teeth and bottom lip can actually remove the skin after bushing. After repeated use, the inside of my mouth becomes irritated and sore. Mixed Review

I really wanted to love this product! This is kind of a double-edged sword review. On the one hand, this toothpaste did EXACTLY what it claimed to do in relieving my tooth and gum sensitivity. It tastes good, doesn't burn, is a decently-sized tube and isn't too pricey for what it does. On the other hand, I have an allergy to this toothpaste. This has happened to me with other toothpastes as well. It causes extremely dry and chapped lips to the point of bleeding. If you have sensitivities to other toothpastes then I would say this one will probably do the same. If not, this is a fantastic product and I would highly recommend trying it out for tooth and gum sensitivity.

Mouth and lip sores! Use with caution!

I started using this on sensitive teeth about three months ago, and it did help. Starting about six weeks ago, however, I started getting sores on my lips, inner cheeks, gums, and tongue that, oddly enough, seemed to be aggravated by sugar. That made me look elsewhere for the cause, but two days ago, out of desperation more than anything, I switched to another toothpaste and the sores have since been healing and the sugar sensitivity has disappeared.I couldn't say why it didn't immediately cause a problem, but it did help soothe my teeth until they healed. It's just strange that it started to cause these strange sores after continued use. I would still recommend people use it short-term, but please be aware of this potential side effect!

The package I picked was the last one on the shelf. The outside box felt dusty and I couldn’t find the expiration date. Not even doubting the toothpaste might be expired or it wouldn’t be on shelves. Well when I used it at home that the toothpaste felt kinda dry and I don’t know if I’m able to return it since I already threw away the receipt. I wasted $15 dollars!!!

Not a fan of the taste

I have been using this toothpaste for almost a month. My initial thoughts were regarding the taste of the toothpaste which I am not a fan of, it is minty but there is a herbal-ish aftertaste which I personally don't like but did eventually get somewhat used to. I much prefer solely mint flavoured toothpaste products. I did find that the toothpaste felt slightly less harsh on my facial skin than others however it did cause mild shedding of the lining of my mouth for the first week or so. This is a problem that I've encountered with other toothpastes before, particularly whitening ones, most likely due to a sensitivity to certain ingredients. Really Works

I am pleasantly surprised at how well this toothpaste works! My teeth are very sensitive, so I can't usually use whitening toothpaste. Finding this Sensodyne has been incredibly beneficial: I can whiten my teeth a little each day, and my sensitive teeth won't hurt! The taste isn't bad, but it's also not the greatest. It's thick, white toothpaste and leaves my mouth feeling a little dry after. Honestly though, even with this, I still love the product and use it twice a day! I also want to note that most whitening toothpastes I've used haven't actually whitened my teeth. With Sensodyne, it truly does a great job! I'm not kidding when I say I noticed a difference after one day. I highly recommend this toothpaste!

This toothpaste make you have canker sore.

This toothpaste are used to give me canker sores because they have this certain ingredient like SLS sodium lauryl sulfate. That’s causing it. I wouldn’t recommend buying the Sensodyne toothpaste because it’s gonna make your mouth have a canker sore mouth in your tooth and your gums because it’s sad that sensitivity for tooth and gums and it’s whitening toothpaste. I wouldn’t recommend buying a whitening toothpaste but on the box say the improve gum health but I don’t think so. It’s hurting it because when you decided to buy fluoride toothpaste that hops the ingredient sodium lauryl sulfate from any brand it’s gonna make it hurt because it does not protect your teeth in your gum because this toothpaste is hurting your toothpaste and gum.
