I ordered this item because of the large capacity removable tank and"burst of steam" feature. It was a breeze to assemble. It started steaming as soon as I plugged it in. Then I noticed there is no on/off switch. The handle slides up and down on its own. If you stand it up it starts to steam but back and forth motion gives no steam. If you pump the handle it does give the burst of steam. I wanted to return the item but could not disassemble the handle. It is very annoying that retailers haven't noticed this problem with any floor machine once the handle is put together it does not come apart. Since I had also ordered extra pads I just use it as is. The pads get dirty very fast and are hard to clean. The place still feels cleaner after use so I give two stars.

Once again the box was ripped up because directions weren't followed but the items were intact and could be used. I live in a forest. I tell the delivery people to please not leave anything on the trunk, ladder, or ground because domestic or forest animals get into them. If its food its gobbled up right away before I even know its here. If its food I never get it which can be difficult because I am a shut-in who has to order by delivery or shipping. This item was on sale and I adore it especially since I can put white vinegar in it while steam mopping to further clean the kitchen floor. I clean up the floor first of all dirt and debris then steam mop it. I use it alot. I just wish they'd get the delivery stuff right. I put delivery instructions in but they're ignored.

What a great value for the buck! I will never use a Swiffer mop pad again! I have hardwood floors, anyone who has them knows you can’t leave standing water. The water container maybe holds 12 ounces, I was able to steam my living room, kitchen, mud room and bathroom on half of the water container. The pad was so dirty I was shocked. I did order replacement pads because it comes with one washable. After seeing what a little steam was able to do I decided to give it a better cleaning later since this was my first shot. I highly recommend it. I’m buying my aunt one for her birthday next. Btw- Any dried or greasy spots come off with one or two passes! My mop just seemed to be smearing the dirt, so i went to the store and looked at all the fancy floor steamers priced for over $100. I decided to invest in this since I trust my shark vacuum so much I figured this was pocket friendly enough to try out. I don’t think my floors have ever been cleaner! I have a lot of hardwood flooring in my house and was worried about the tank not being big enough, however I was able to complete my whole house before it did! This did an amazing job! I’m honestly wanting to try out the shark steamer with the built in vacuum now to make life a little easier and take the sweeping out of the equation. đź¤đź¤đź¤But I 100% recommend this if your looking for something to really get those floors cleaned! I honestly love the shark brand!

We don't have a huge home so it is perfect in terms of storage and ease of use. We found the cord pleanty long enough although we did have to change plugs for one larea of the house. We use only water from the tap (which is quite hard in terms of ph) but have noth any issue with this. We use it on engineered wood as well as tile flooring. We do recommend that you do a very good sweep or vacuum, or both. We wear socks while cleaning the floor to avoid footprints while the floor is damp and drying. The only downside was that Shark replacement mop heads are really expensive. We found a great deal on aftermarket velcro cloths on Walmart.com. Having spares is a handy thing and we wash ours in warm water and hang dry (including the Shark oem cloth). Not sure we'll ever upgrade bc this is such a great tool and seems to be wearing well.
I love Shark products but this one, not so much. The cord is just long enough for one room. There is no power button so you have to walk on the wet tiles to unplug it to shut it off . There is not constant steam coming out, you have to "pump" it to release more steam. The water container is small but it will clean one room so while you are moving the cord to the next outlet, you can fill it up with more water at the same time and wait over a minute for the mop to get started. I really wouldn't recommend this mop. There are so many brands to choose from, I'm sure you can pay the same price for a better one. Unfortunately, I threw the box away as soon as I got it (that's how much I believe(d) in Shark products) so I can't return it. I'll never do that again.

My daughter and I are shoes off at the front door kind of people. Unfortunately, the color of the laminate shows absolutely everything.
