I also haven't had any of these leak on me, as I've had many normal ink pens do over the years. If you just want the best, most reliable permanent marker out there, you'd get a Sharpie anyway.

U got this gold sharpie for use on plastic or metal use, as it doesn’t really show up metallic on paper. (I tried for a 50th anniversary card and it didn’t show up shiny) It looks pretty on smooth surfaces, and it lasts a while. My dog got ahold of the top but didn’t puncture a hole in it, so the sharpie ink isn’t dried up yet, and I’ve been using this for a while, so I was quite impressed! I definitely recommend it more for artsy stuff than just as a regular pen. It smells a bit like paint, but not as strong. This bit a bad Sharpie, overall.
