It doesn't fit as well as the filter that comes with the MV7 Podcast microphone (which makes sense; this filter is targeted for the SM7B). Still, the RK346 is a great filter that looks very nice in a podcast set up. If you're looking for something to reduce audio plosives or to give you that SM7B feel, the RK346 is a solid improvement.

Disliking the stock windscreen on the MV7x, I found this. It works as a semi-stock fix but there is a downside. It's basically held on by friction between the foam and the protrusion below the grill. This means that if you accidentally bump the windscreen, it could cause movement and have the plastic base impact the mic body.

After digging out the old SM7 from storage, we were "unable to find" the windscreen. In reality, the mic was sol old, the windscreen had disintegrated (which I realized when attempting to install this bad boy.)The locking ring was still locked in, but the screen was GONE!So I purchased this and now this vintage microphone looks like a MILLION bucks!!! It snapped right into the mic for a secure hold. Thrilled that this ic compatible with all SM7 models (I believe.)

My first microphone was the Samson G-track pro. It is an excellent microphone. However, it was very sensitive to any sounds whatsoever. After switching to the Shure, the microphone does not pick up any of the noises in my house while I record. The Shure Motiv app works fantastic. The features enable different styles of sound and it is incredibly sturdy. I would suggest getting a different pop filter for it as the one that comes with it is quite small. But other than that it is a great mic. #sweepstakes
We recently bought some new mics for our podcast and the windscreen that came with the mics wasn't sufficient. Ours P's were still popping too hard. So I bought these bad boys from B&H and the sound quality is leaps and bounds better. The wind screens fit directly on the microphone with no problem.
