For context, when I read about this 'not-a-mini-pump' I had high hopes and ordered one straight away. Steeply priced but enormous promise: 89psi capability, compact dimensions, and sublime build quality. Technically yes, practically not so much. I tested it on a few different wheels (clincher, tubular, 23mm, 25mm, standard presta, valve extender): amazing, it just worked. Nonetheless, I was PB'ing at 60psi for 3 minute intervals of intense pumping (not to mention huffing and puffing!). Compact? Not massive but it won't fit in a standard saddle bag. And minor issue: the build is indeed beautiful but the three little grey bands on the handle are easy to push out of their grooves. Reliable, and great 'talking piece', but I most riders will save on weight, time, energy, ... MoreFor context, when I read about this 'not-a-mini-pump' I had high hopes and ordered one straight away. I bought this a couple of months ago. I've not had a puncture since, so it's working really well as a lucky charm.I tried it out, pumps up tires quite quickly, well made, expect to to last a life time.I'd recommend this product

There's no escaping that this costs way more than a regular mini pump and that it's the bit of kit that you hope you don't really have to use. So…why did I buy it? First of all if I need to use it I want a pump that is reliable and as efficient and effortless as possible. To achieve that, I wanted something that is well engineered. I also wanted a pump that would fit easily in a jersey pocket. And, I wanted a pump that will potentially last me a life time. The pocket impero undoubtedly fulfils all of these things - as well as being a thing of beauty (if that's possible for a mini pump).
Like all Silca products well marketed garbage. Spent over 40 minutes trying desperately to pump tires valve constantly clogged in the hole, never got firm pressure eventually rode off and gently hit a bump and flatted again in 5 minutes due to such low pressure. Other times spent 30-40 minutes desperately pumping same low pressure problem eventually got assistance from fellow bikers w better pumps . Stay away from silca all their products have been failures and expensive ones at that.
As soon as you pick this up, it feels quality. Really sturdy, a couple of pumps and you know its good. Luckily I've yet to use it on the road!!!
Yes it is expensive, but it is also very good and saves time and effort when the need arises. Plus it looks pretty cool!
Easily the best quality mini pump I've ever used. Its very well put together and stylish too. Really pleased with this bit of kit, I won't ever go out without it now.
Relatively high cost for a bicycle pump, this really does not disappoint and well worth the money. After spending time at the road side fixing punctures with an average pump - you know how the pump gets hot and loses pressure and those fiddly hoses to connect the pump to the tyre? Well those days are over - this delivers on all the manufacturers' description, quality build and does the job very well.
Excellent product. Quality design that works and will last.I nice evolution would be a titanium option and a holter for the Pocket Impero
