Go to device manager, then to your hard drive, there should be two storage displays the original and one unrecognised new ssd. Just set the status to online and it should work just fine.

Performance:ExcellentInstalled the M.2, running smoothly and working perfectly without any error occur. No bluescreen or anything. Feels like I'm using a new laptop. Installed windows 10 on it. Speed is very fast. The price is cheap and reasonable. Been using one of their sata SSD for a year now and there's no problem with it. Very good and durable products. Would recommend to others. I give rating 10/10. Delivery is fast. Customer support is good and helpful.

I have purchased several of these Silicon Power 2TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe TLC SSD's for upgrading client PC's (HP Elitebook 840 G3 & G4 notebooks). I get similar speed performance compared to the Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD's but the specs indicate that the Silicon Power SSD's have a longer MTBF and Warranty. Since These SSD's are main OS drives in i7 notebooks with applications where there are a lot of read/write cycles, I prefer the TLC NAND SSD's which can sustain (supposedly) a greater number of read/write cycles before cell failure. Length of ownership has not been long enough to make a true assessment of longevity. I can only state that of the four SSD's purchased, none had infant mortality. Windows 7 installs still require a product key for install (Just like always). If I have to clone the OS drive, I use Macrium Reflect; even for Samsung SSD's since Samsung Magician has a bad reputation for drive cloning (just what I have read and heard from others so YMMV). In conclusion, I would recommend these SSD's and have purchased them several times.they are a great value when compared to other reputable Gen 3X4 PCIe M.2 2280 NVMe SSD's.

I bought this Hard drive to use as a large capacity storage drive for video files, things I wanted to be able to access quickly for editing. However after about a month of infrequent use it started to have serious problems. First it started to randomly stop transferring files for a few seconds before resuming. Then a while after that it would stop transferring files and never resume again at which point my PC would return an error about the drive no longer existing, except it was still listed on the "This PC" screen. If I tried to open the drive again and move files then the transfer would stay at 0% permanently. I've worked in IT and went through everything I could think of to make sure it wasn't an issue on the side of my computer and the problem persisted.
