The metal part of the band that slides into my Apple Watch has side to side movement without being able to be removed where as my Apple trail loop along with my nomad rugged band are locked in and have no movement at all.

I’m in the water often so silicon is the best material for what I need. Waterproof and doesn’t smell. My only issue is the durability. Because the Apple Watch requires removal for charging the band holes tear over time. Still works mind you just one notch looser. It’s my second Barton band in this style so the price is affordable enough that I could live with the last bands wear and tear. If you don’t have to remove your watch often then this band could potentially last much longer. The material is soft and comfortable but sacrifices durability.

Love these watch bands. I would also like to thank Joseph for the great customer service. After several years of wearing my original band like this, I ordered another as a back up. Unfortunately, when my order came, it didn’t fit my Apple Watch. Turned out I had accidentally ordered the same look but for a regular watch. Joseph was quick to send out the correct version for me, even before I had a chance to return the other one. Thanks so much!

That being said, there are some minor things I don’t like about the band. The slack loops are very flimsy. The locking loop is hard to move sometimes because the material is too soft. The textured band also tends to accumulate filth in it. But those are really the only complaints I have about the band. The fit is great. The metal hardware looks great in the all black. They don’t appear to be just painted because as often as I bump my wrist while I work (firefighter/ paramedic) there is not even a scratch visible on either the buckle or the Apple Watch mounting hardware. Solid 4 stars!
I have been looking for a red watch band that my husband can buckle easily and wear in the pool. When I saw this, I knew it would be perfect; he loves it! So many of the bands for Apple watches have magnetic closures or other types that don't work or are difficult to use. This straight forward traditional closure is just what he needed.
Love this band.! Well made...great color and most importantly, it fit my very small wrist. No worries if you have an average or large wrist. It comes with two bands...one smaller...one larger. Great band!
These bands are of very high quality and extremely comfortable. A quick note is that the one I ordered is the same 22mm band as others that I have - but with the Apple Watch inserts. This was a pleasant surprise because now I can swap other colors. They sent 2 sizes which meant I had an extra insert. One of them happened to fit a little loose so I swapped it out and it's perfect. I will certainly order more bands not just because of the quality but because of the great customer service from Barton.
Cozy. Stylin'. Needed to use only one keeper given my chicken wrists, but second keeper was easy to remove. Not mentioned in description is that first keeper has a small protrusion that fits perfectly into slot at end of wristband. Really neat idea to ensure keeper stays in place. Four stars for now, simply 'cause I've had band for a few days. If band is in good shape in three years, I might promote my ranking.
It seems to be a quality watch band. Unfortunately it seems a little dainty for my Apple Ultra 2. It would also be nice if they had a titanium option to better match the Ultra 2 face.
This band is the only non-Apple band I’ve bought that hasn’t given me an allergic reaction to the metal clasp. I ONLY deducted one star because the whole reason I was shopping non-Apple bands is because they don’t have color combos I love. Barton has great styles, and apparently good hardware, but mostly if you’re a rugged/casual type. NGL, that’s mostly my style, but I do like purple, lilac, and teal, so the search continues for bands I love that don’t give me an itchy rash.If you like blues, black, and grey, this place has you covered.
