I have an at-home microderm abrasion tool that I use on a weekly basis. My skin is usually red and irritated upon completion and I'd usually just put on my regular serum, a thicker moisturizer (my night cream) and go about my day. My skin would stay red/irritated for several hours so I'd have to make sure I only used my microdem machine on days I was not planning on much in the afternoons. NOW I can use my machine any day of the week b/c I put on this mask and BOOM - within the hour my skin is back to normal and glowing. I cannot see any significant changes in my skin solely from using this mask, but I also (luckily) don't have any major issues I was hoping to see change with. For what I use this mask for I give it 5 stars!!!

Omggg. I have acne and scars so I use some harsh cleansers and prescription topicals, including retinol. This makes my skin dry and red, and I also have rosacea. This calms my skin incredibly and I feel like it leaves my skinny healthy, glowing, hydrated, and plump. This feels so luxurious on the skin! I use it as a leave on. It says to use a generous amount but I don’t feel like you need all that much. I put it on after all my skincare except moisturizer that i out on after once it’s fully dry. Although my skin is currently dry, I have oily skin. This doesn’t add to my oiliness. It’s cold already but I keep it in the fridge. God it feels good on my red irritated skin!

I was recommended to use SkinCeuticals phyto corrective masque after I had done a dual fraxel laser treatment with my plastic surgeon. This was great to apply throughout the day as my skin recovered from the procedure to keep it moisturized but not greasy and a refreshing feeling. I was also told it was great to use 3 times a week at night. If you skin is looking a little dull and you need a pick me up then clean your face well and wear this to bed and your skin will look and feel better in the morning. Get into the habit of working this into your skin regimen. Another quality product sold by LovelySkin!!

I love this masque for its calming properties, especially after a deeper exfoliation, or extraction. I used it after a pore cleansing device left me a little red afterwards. This masque, along with Epidermal Barrier Repair helped calm my skin down. The only downside is the scent, but after finding out one of the active ingredients is thymol, it makes sense.
And could only take one item, it would be this masque. In the last year since I first discovered it, I have gone through 5 jars. It lasts a while, but I use it almost every single day. It's also amazing for sunburns. I got a terrible burn last summer and rubbed this on... the next day my burn was almost completely gone. When my niece burned her face after tripping while carrying hot, melted cheese this masque literally saved her skin. This product is so amazing. A tip I got from my esthetician - don't completely rinse it off. Take a wet cloth and gently run it over your face so you leave a bit on your skin. This is number one in both my beauty kit and my first aid kit!
This is a really nice mask. I use it a couple times a week as my nighttime moisturizer. It really helps with redness and irritation. Smells clean and fresh but not fragrant. Very heavy gel- love that the consistency is not sticky! Also is gentle enough that I can use this on my neck.
This product truly works. I live in Miami and I’ll apply it anywhere I get too much sun and it helps cool the skin, settle the redness, and prevent my skin from peeling. Most recently I developed an odd red dryness on my eyelids (need to see a derm!) it’s slowly heeling whatever rash I have. I think it’s truly a must have product for your collection. You may not use it daily, but when you need it you will be so happy you have it!

This is the second time that I have ordered this. The first time, I put in fridge and forgot about it. I finally had a real need for it and I got it out of the fridge and made it part of my daily routine.. I leave it on overnight. My skin is very dry and I have rosacea that has been really active in the last several months. This product cools my skin and calms the burning and redness. I can easily say that it has become a necessity in my skin routine.
Four stars because I have not used it long enough to know if it is good or great. I do know is that I love the way it feels on my face. It definitely lives up to the cooling and soothing portions as advertised! I think it helps with my rosy red cheeks and it definitely takes the heat out of my cheeks when I'm having a flare-up.
