I've been using this bathtub for 6 months now and I love it. It's the perfect size and I love how it grows with your baby. I'm currently in stage two and the sling was designed with careful thought. The hanging hook comes in very handy. This is an almost perfect product though. I would have the star plug at the bottom have a temperature color-changing feature that tells you when the water is too hot. Also, the mesh sling should be allowed to buy separately for replacement or have an extra one included with the tub. It smells bad no matter how many times I wash it and I have read reviews that it can mold. FIX THIS!!!The stickers inside the bathtub should be on the bottom. This is a great product. However, had I known how difficult it would be to get the warning stickers off I can honestly say I wouldn't have bought it.I liked the size and the hook on this baby bath and it fits in our bathroom space better than some of the other baths on the market. Do bear in mind that it's quite heavy so if you do plan to hang it, it'll need to be somewhere able to take the weight. However, the warning stickers are a nightmare to peel off! It took me an hour to take off each label. There are three. Why you need three labels next to each other warning you that babies can drown in water, I don't know! Why you couldn't put these labels on the base of the bath so you don't need to take them off (apparently they chip off in water and stick to baby's ... MoreThis is a great product. A lesson in how to take a great product and with one mindless action, replace the potential joy of the thing with an intense hatred for the hours of your life you'll never get back, the fingernails you've destroyed, and the shoulder pain from the repetitive act of peeling! If you don't mind three hours of scraping and peeling off miniscule amounts of sticker at a time, whilst offloading expletives to vent some of the intense anger you feel towards a blue plastic whale, then go ahead. But in hindsight, I wish I'd bought one second-hand, having let someone else do that!

My daughter is 4 months old and we have used this tub since the beginning. It’s a great design where she splashes her feet in the water and I feel secure that she’s safe in her seat. It also seems quite comfortable for her. My only complaint is to upgrade the mesh clips for the sling. My husband and I struggle to remove the mesh to throw it into the washer. If we don’t machine wash this after each bath there is a terrible mildew smell. As a result of the challenges of removing the sling, we lament bath-time a little

Received this as a gift, it was very useful at first. We used it daily, cleaned it, and let it dry AND it still go MOLD all over the back of the sling. It is horrible!! Also, the warning sticking is located on the inside of the tub, no instructions to tell us to remove it before use, so I'm assuming it's water resistant. One day I noticed all these tiny particles in the bath water with my son in it, then I realized the sticker were slow deteriorating!! Luckily my son did not swallow the bath water. I am furious with the product, so disappointed!!!!!What a waste of product. I want to to return it for a new bathtub, but I'll just be throwing it in the trash.
My son was born just under 8 pounds. The first tub I bought him had a baby sling which was useless because it was tiny and did not seem safe at all restraining him. Mosttubs that I looked at in the market had this and were all uselss. Thankfully I came across this tub which my son LOVES! After reviewing and testing different tubs, I feel more comfortable bathing him with yours knowing that it supports him properly. He also is learning how to sit and the adjustable hammock is a godsend as he can sit supported comfortably unlike other tubs that only have the hammock or unsupported sitter features leaving you forced to hold your baby constantly and not able to wash properly. Happy son at bath time equals a happy mom! Thank you Skip Hop! This Mama is spreading the word to her expecting friends as a baby registry must have!!! I'm uploading pics from his first bath time in this tub at 2 months and his most recent pic in it at almost 5 months. My only suggestion is that you create more similar designs and maybe more animals some how. And maybe even a longer design as my son loves it so much and I'll be sad when he outgrow it.
I have been using this tub for 16 weeks. The stickers flaked off early on, but they are gone now and don't bother us. My sling also hasn't gotten moldy like some others. My biggest complaint is that the 1st configuration wasn't useful for very long for my longer baby. He started kicking himself mostly out of the tub. We then had to switch to configuration 2 at 4 months, but it isn't supportive enough to keep him from wigging down into the tub and potentially submerging his head into the water. It hasn't happened but he sinks down so quickly that it easily could if my husband and I didn't both participate in bath time. We have to hold his butt in place in the sling so he doesn't slide down and drown in while the other bathes him. It just feels really dangerous for ... MoreI have been using this tub for 16 weeks. We have to hold his butt in place in the sling so he doesn't slide down and drown in while the other bathes him. It just feels really dangerous for babies in that in between stage of not sitting up alone but being too big for the newborn configuration. Perhaps if your baby is tiny and doesn't wiggle it wouldn't be an issue. It's unfortunate, too, because my baby loves the tub. He kicks and splashes and laughs...although that's what causes him to slide. We will be looking for a new option.I guess there's a reason it needs so many warning stickers.
Not a fan of this bathtub. Right away, I knew I was going to have trouble with the design.1) the infant seating (stage 1) doesnt accommodate larger babies. My son was born quite long and his feet was sticking out of the bathtub. We couldn’t find a comfortable position for him. .2) The stage 2 seating just made him sit in an awkward position! The position of the net pushed his head forward which I’m sure isn’t comfortable for the baby and there’s not enough back support for the baby to sit to accommodate the head area. The product is just poorly designed for smaller babies. My (now) three month old has decent neck strength but still isn’t fully ready to sit on his own.. he’s too big for stage one but not strong enough to use the stage 2 position.I wouldn’t ... I usually love Skip-Hop products, so I was very excited to receive this as a baby shower gift. It worked all right for our baby girl at the beginning, but rather quickly she seemed too long for stage 1 of the sling- where she was kicking the top of the end of the tub. The clips are really difficult to move, but we moved them to stage 2 and now she just seems miserable. She is slouched down in it and it takes 2 of us to bathe her so she doesn’t slip into the water. The stickers also have been coming off and leaving chunks of sticker in the water while bathing. We are looking at getting something different now, but upset because this bath was supposed to last her awhile!
It’s a good size bath tub and I like the sling but who’s idea was it to put all the warning labels INSIDE the tub? Every time I gave my baby a bath, bits of the sticker would wash off into the tub. Then the adhesive underneath would be sticky and fuzz would stick to it. I had to use goo gone to get it all off. I also had a lot of issues getting the sling unclipped as others mentioned. There are better baby baths out there.
