I wanted to buy this for some time now, but was not sure about it. I honestly thought it was a gimmick. Was I wrong about it. It elevates coffee making experience to a whole new level. It's fun to use, the coffee tastes better. I'm really glad I bought it.

Great little scale using everyday. The reading takes a few moments to settle but once it does the is no variation. When I used a measuring cup I can zero the scale, take the cup on and off, and the scale remains at zero. It is also sensitive down to a single coffee bean Can’t go wrong for the money. Cheers

It was an anniversary gift. He really likes it. Although, he only has coffee in the morning, it takes a while to heat up - but that's a syphon. Otherwise, it's the best thing if you love a nice smooth coffee. we both enjoy it. Easy to clean (just the cloth, so getting paper filters)
It's excellent for it's price. It's sensitive and accurate, and the smaller size does not occupy to much benchtop space. I used to use my kitchen scale to weight my beans and it takes roughly 5 minutes (due to it's sensitivity) and it's only accurate to 1 g. This little scale takes 30 seconds (max) and it's accuracy down to 0.1 g. Win win.
Nice and compact, the lid folds making for easy transport. If deciding between this and the 1kg one, they are a similar side so if you don't need the portability, I'd reccomend the other one. All in all, an essential item for making a good espresso!
First saw the Syphon while on holiday in Bali. Having stopped at a small off the track location, to be shown how they grow spice, coffee and other items. Was told of the local coffee Luwak, where fruit and coffee beans a feed to a Luwak. The poo is collected, cleaned and the coffee beans roasted. Was a fantastic, flavoursome brew. The flavours brought out by the Syphon technique.On returning home I had to get one and started my search. AB had the stock, the filters, the added extras and the price. It takes approx 5 mins from start to finish to make the coffee but the enjoyment and tatse are well worth the time.The syphon is made well and looks great. I didn't use the alcohol burning that came with it as I purchased a butane burning from AB to speed up the process.
Nice little scales with good accuracy but I was disappointed that the unit I received did not have the rhino logo on the stainless plate as shown in the listing. I specifically purchased this brand over their cheaper competitors because I wanted the logo.
Works well. Fast response. Unit increments appropriate. Compact size fits well with my Cafelat Robot.Would be great if packaged with a calibration weight.
Sent this to my best friend who is a big coffee nerd for birthday and she loves it! Beautiful little piece of equipment. Makes lovely coffee too. Maybe I should get one for myself as well? :)
