Slip Black Lovely Lashes Contour Silk Sleep Mask

I have had significant issues with my sleep for most of my 40+ years and have always needed to wear a mask when going to bed as I am beyond sensitive to any slight touch of light that's nearby. I've owned at least 6 original slip masks guess 50-60 others at all price points including uber expensive super-specialized ones as well as those picked up at random or free from airlines or hotels! My point is that I have a lot of experience with what's out there with this particular brand traditionally put out which although among the nicest available, never quite made me fully happy satisfied. One of my biggest issues was always related to fit, comfort, ability to keep clean and especially with how damp mine often felt due to normal tearing that's hard to avoid if you have something laying on top of your eyelids. However, this is THE GAME CHANGER I didn't expect to find- decision to buy another was by chance only because I fell in love with the new Portofino pattern. I had been aware of the new eye lash friendly design but if not for the pattern, probably would not have been motivated to spend more money on additional slip silk masks- Thank God for that pattern LOL 😂 using this has led to a completely unique new experience in the past month + since it arrived,, I am certain there's been a noticeable improvement in both quality ability to sleep overall. Hooray! The eyelid/lash lifted pocket makes such a difference in my case- not one bit of my mask touches or rests on my lids even with my huge eyes! The comfort factor is key- it's definitely helped me stay asleep, the fit is fantastic- HUGE improvement in that area and it feels so good when I put it on- a real relaxation effect. Been using for 5-6 weeks nightly now, it's still in great shape, staying much cleaner and the form is as good as it was on the first day- definite design upgrade thoughtful attention to ergonomics. I'm thrilled as you can see- I love to read write reviews but am only compelled to do so with products at the extremes, for example extraordinarily good, bad, way overpriced, a fantastic deal, something that I want to encourage others to consider it at extreme ends on the quality scale. I know that there are many others like me for whom sleep can be elusive have a significant impact on life in general and if you're anything like me, this is worth a try- I'm beyond happy with my purchase no gripes about price whatsoever- would buy another or replacement even at 2x the cost still feel good about it.

Absolute game changer

I bought the pink version of this mask in a gift set they did recently and it's an absolute game changer. I have lash extensions and sleep on my side so was looking for something to help protect my lashes from rubbing on my pillow and this is the perfect product! The contours inside the mask mean that I can open my eyes with the mask on without my lashes feeling any pressure which assures me that they're not rubbing against anything whilst I sleep, exactly what I was looking for. What I didn't expect was how well this would help me sleep! Almost great

$50 for an eye mask is indeed ridiculous but it’s also nearly perfect. I don’t have lash extensions but I have naturally long lashes. I had noticed with other sleeping masks that my lashes would get crushed and they started growing sideways towards the corners of my eye, essentially the opposite direction of how lashes grow. This mask doesn’t crush them and it’s really comfortable even for side sleeping.It’s not 100% black out though and the band is not adjustable. I can tell that in a short while the band will get stretched out and then the mask will be useless. I estimate in maybe 3 months or so it will stretch out.

Great mask

Sleeping with a face mask is a must for me - can't sleep with any lights on. I had the old version of this mask and was always annoyed at the fact that the mask always touched my closed eyelids and wasn't the best at blocking out the light. This new version is great! The silk is delicate and gentle on your face but it doesn't touch your eyelids thanks to the contour - you can even open your eyes completely with the mask on! Removing one star because there is still a little light peeking through around the nose and other masks I have tried to not have that issue (though those masks are not silk!)

Heavenly sleep mask

I have worn lash extensions for the past 5 years. When we travel, it’s very difficult to get a restful nights sleep without blackout drapes. I recently purchased this mask and I honestly cannot say enough great things about it!!! It’s like tucking ur eyes into a goose down duvet for the perfect nights sleep. This incredible masks blocks out the super bright sunlight in the bedroom so you can sleep for a few hours after the sun comes up… Trust me this mask is amazing, comfortable and wont ruin your lash extensions!!! It’s absolutely just perfect in every way.

NOT WORTH THE COST.

I was really excited for this product. For the price, you'd expect something really great, really high quality. My $10 eye mask from old navy is nicer than this. The only benefit to this is that it does, indeed, stay off your lashes. Great, so do a dozen other eye masks on Amazon. Other than that, the texture of the material is terrible, it feels so cheap and rough, not smooth and gentle like a sleep mask should be. Also, I have a big head. Like, so wide when I buy glasses I have to buy the widest width of men's glasses kinda big. So if the strap is too large for ME, it is gonna be too large for everyone, and there is zero way to adjust it. Okay eye mask

I bought this eye mask because it was silk and I have been okay with Slip eye Masks before. But this one leaves overnight marks on my face and especially my nose and my head is on the smaller size so who know what people with larger head sizes might have to deal with. I also thought that it might provide better nose contour to better block out light but then the small piece of fabric between the bottom curves kinda just sits weirdly. In terms of lashes, my eye lashes are medium to long naturally but uncurled so I could feel my eyelashes on the silk mask, though I'm assuming it would work for those with lashes as it does provide some space for lashes.

Surprisingly really good

I don't use eye lashes extensions and such but since I have been using the regular Slip masks for so many years I thought I would give this one a try. At the beginning I was uncomfortable about how heavier it is than the regular one, it's like having a small cushion on my face and when lying on the side, but got use to that very quickly and ended up loving it more than the other one. I just feel like I'm putting myself in another room it's very block. And if I use treatments on my skin or eyebrows they won't rub on my eyes which is nice. I really enjoy sleeping with this mask as I am a light sleeper and can't handle any light this one rocks.

Too tight for me.

Like another reviewer, I, too purchased the special edition one. Weird that other reviewers say the mask is too loose. Mine is a wee bit too tight. I don't even have a big head. I was surprised the strap is elastic and non-adjustable. I still use it, but the band being slightly too tight makes me uncomfortable when trying to sleep, so I usually end up flinging it off. I do like the impressions for the eyes, so the mask is not putting pressure on my eyes. Still, the slightly tight band ends up hugging the sides of my eyes. For the price, this thing should be perfect.

most comfortable shape, great light blocking

It’s true that the band isn’t adjustable and that it would be an improvement- however, this is the best eye sleep mask I have ever used. I just purchased my second lovely lashes contour mask today after my husband tried it and said how much better it blocks light than his previous Bucky padded masks.The magic is the extra deep room for your eyes and presumably extensions though I don’t have those. Plus, the silk is cool and soft. It comes in a sturdy storage box.
