Regular Pepsi doesn't include Sweeteners or Preservatives! Look at the ingredients. This stuff contains:Sugar, Water, Colour (E150d), Acids (Phosphoric Acid, Citric Acid), Acidity Regulator (Sodium Citrate), Sweeteners (Sucralose, Acesulfame K), Flavourings (contains Caffeine), Stabiliser (Gum Arabic), Preservative (Sodium Benzoate)Proper Regular Pepsi contains:Carbonated Water, Sugar, Colour (Caramel E150d), Acid (Phosphoric Acid), Flavourings (including Caffeine)The sweeteners make this taste different, I'm going to be sticking to the proper stuff that hasn't been cheapened by replacing some of the sugar with cheaper sweeteners in future.

Does it taste 100% like pepsi max? No, 95% the same. Is it still a really nice pepsi drink? Yes, it is! The trick is to start out only using the 0.5L fill line in the lid to make 1L of pepsi, the 1L line was almost undrinkable, start low and make your way up if you need to but I find the 0.5L line makes a tasty enough drink, and you get more out of every syrup bottle! Made the switch from pepsi max bottles to this syrup and havnt looked back, works out a little cheaper and I can make it any time I like and no bottles to haul home and then recycle!

I am a huge fan of Pepsi Max and before I discovered I could make it myself with SodaStream I went through several single use cans and bottles a day. Now that's changed with SodaStream - no more single use plastic and cans going to waste and I don't see myself going back. The Pepsi Max SodaStream Syrup might seem expensive but you have to remember you don't use the whole bottle for 500ml or 1 litre (depending on the size of the carbonating bottle). Depending on how sweet you like it, one bottle of syrup makes up to 9 litres. Winner! The actual taste of the drink when made correctly is what I would describe as identical to the ones widely available in bottles and cans. I even think it tastes like pub / restaurant Pepsi Max sometimes, which is definitely a ... As one of the unlucky people who is left with an awful aftertaste with any sweetener, Pepsi is one of the few drinks I can still enjoy, so I was glad to see this. A way to save a little money and have a glass occasionally without having to pay through the nose for the cans. Imagine my disappointment on my first glass, being left with that dreadful taste I find so very hard to get rid of. I never thought to check the ingredients as Pepsi has always been 'safe' to drink but it has sucralose and acesulfame k. Very disappointed and a waste of money.
I decided to write a review in English, mainly to avoid translation difficulties between Norwegian and Swedish, but also so international speakers can easier read this review. They will be divided into sections, based on the flavors and then write a bit about them.Starting off with one of the most known soda brands globally, Pepsi.I have tried both Pepsi Max and the original Pepsi, side-by-side comparison with a bottle from a local grocery store. If the mixture is done correctly, they taste very nice, but not 100% identical. I would say the one with sugar tastes much better than the no sugar.I have been mixing them for about 4-5 months now and I have not experienced myself getting tired of the taste, however having a variety is always a good practice.I ... It's fantastic in every way thinkable.I personally can't drink too much 7up as I will quickly get tired of the taste, however it has nothing to do against the product. It's recommended for sure! :)*I have unfortunately not tried the sugar free variant yet.*------------------------------------------------------------------Next up is Mirinda, the flavor that in my opinion overruns Fanta from Coca-Cola.The taste is sweet with a hint of orange. It is very pleasant to drink and it is in my opinion better than Fanta. I can never get tired of the taste and it is my personal favorite among the three.I absolutely recommend it ;)If you read all of this, thank you very much!
Well, I knew that Pepsi Max tastes a bit different than normal Pepsi, with a distinct sweetener aftertaste. But this... This is disgusting. No matter at which concentration you'd make it, it's impossible to drink.I've bought it together with Mirinda syrup (sugar, no sweetener) and the latter is pretty fine, so I think it's the sweetener to blame.
Thank you for inviting me to review this product along with the Sodastream Terra. I have to say Pepsi is not a soft drink normally found in my trolley when I go shopping, so this mixer was a totally new experience for me. I liked the taste, not too sweet or sugary, and adding it to the carbonated water was a convenient way of making the drink but, to be honest, I much prefer adding fruit cordials to my sparkling water instead.
Following an email conversation with one of your operatives, I was sent a gift of three flavours, including an as yet, unreleased flavour, Pepsi and Lime, which was excellent, but my original issue has yet to be addressed, that being the low number of flavours available in the UK. NO Dandelion and Burdock, NO energy drink, NO Dr Pete(pepper), NO Iced Tea, NO Mountain Dew, when all are available to other countries, WHY NOT US??? Six weeks on, and I'm still waiting for a response.
Ridiculous.Profit before customers. Add sweeteners, ruin taste, add danger to those with allergies by reformulating - because doing it without any of the normal New Taste, Improved flavour claims that normally go all over packaging when its been reformulated means its less noticeable that I might have trouble swallowing because of a swollen tongue and throat due to an allergic reaction to sweeteners. We need to have CONTAINS SWEETENERS on packs like they do for nut allergy sufferers. Ideally, Sweetners, Warning! Should be bigger than product name on front of pack!
