This game was worth the wait! Fantastic graphics and very nostalgia for me since I used to play it on the SEGA genesis. Highly recommend to anybody especially sonic fans!!! Plays just like a remember it! Controls also are very responsive

Brill game but let down by the decision to map the controls differently on the switch compared to the other versions. As they cant be changed you can’t go from playing on pc to switch easily which caused a lot of frustration.

This collection has a great presentation, all the Mega Drive Sonic games and a few extras. And for how much this collection goes for nowadays, picking it up is really a no brainer. With that said, it's not perfect. It doesn't support save states, so you can't save at all except for in Sonic 3, so you have to beat all the games in one sitting. With how busy and impatient people are nowadays, this can easily be a deal breaker. Also, it doesn't support progressive scan even if you have component cables, so 480i is the best you're gonna get. With that said, the games still look surprisingly sharp if you use component. There are also a few emulation issues, but they're quite minor. But if you're planning on sticking with the GameCube, you can get the Sonic Game Gear games in Sonic Adventure DX as you play throughit. Still, this collection has a great presentation, and if you can get past the fact that you won't be able to save your progress, it can still be a great addition to your GameCube library.

A good way to play the first 3 games and then some. Tho I'd say the Sega Saturn Sonic Jam looks more compelling. I love this collection tho. I wish it had Sonic R and Sonic the Fighters and Sonic CD, but oh well that's a different collection.
With lots of good games, high quality emulation, and lots of compelling extras, Sonic Mega Collection delivers. The presentation is fantastic and the developers clearly cared about the Blue Blurs legacy. If youre looking to get into the series and have a GameCube or Wii lying around, pass on Sonic Origins and get this game instead!
This is the best sonic the hedgehog yet.It's got good handling, excellent graphics and easy controls.
