Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for AirPods Pro Case 1 Black

Love the look of this case but it is so loosely molded that the bottom section with the carabiner allows the AirPods Pro case to completely fall out. Have had them completely fall out around the house 2x and have finally given up on the case. They provide a piece of two sided tape for the flip cap but nothing for the bottom section. The flip cap seems to have a better friction fit and hasn’t presented any issues or need for the tape. Which I could say the same for the bottom. It will press in with a slight snap as it aligns but then glides right back out again - there is literally ZERO friction fit. Would not trust this case anywhere but a pocket and never hang from the carabiner.Spigen - you guys are better than this!

The case is excellent, is sleek, and makes my AirPods Pro feel steady like nobody’s business. However, as mentioned by other reviewers the bottom half of the case slides off easily, as it isn’t held on by adhesive like the top half. The solution to this is to cut one of the spare adhesive pads in half and place one half in each bottom corner, so that when you slide the bottom half on it stays on. Perhaps something to consider for newer batches of this product.

FYIBecause of the product design, and this is true for MOST, the hinge area is going to be generously exposed for full range of motion. Do not rely on fluid protection other than the Airpod's inherent capacity. Same goes for the light indicator opening and the lightning port opening.The added weight of the case will "relatively" weaken the magnetic force to keep the lid closed. It's hardly noticeable, but will open when consciously manipulated. Also the body eventually fits less snug, and again this is true for most cases, it may push through the hinge/cap line, causing magnet weakness. Just be aware of your handling.4. WorthIf you understand how Appl Care(+) works then you'll know the case and each pods are treated separately. Save your AC for the pods. This product will keep your pod case intact in almost any normal circumstances. If you don't have AC, then well this is the most effective alternative. Highly recommended.
