In review of this product I have found that the device is simple to put together and once installed the dual swivel mechanism is effortless and smooth. I've done a thorough research on monitor ARMs and this one came out to be the most favorable factoring in: price, versatility, positive reviews that confirm my requirements: Macbook pro & Thunderbolt Display. There were a few major surprises: a) i've had to purchase the Apple Adaptor separately. Makes total sense and i felt a bit stupid for missing this given my research. All in all, they could easily make this detail more obvious rather than somehow obfuscating this important detail b) this ARM is not able to lift up & hold 27" Thunderbolt Display as mine, after going through bunch of BS and several days of waiting etc., isn't holding its set height and keeps flipping down on its face. I did decide to keep this arm simply because i'll be upgrading my monitor later on for UltraWide 4K..besides i don't really have luxury of time to go through the entire process all over again. Home Essentials Direct Reviews are usually great and i can make purchases more confidently but this one didn't really come up to that standard.

Simple Product but Good

If you’re just looking for a basic monitor arm that is quality built, solid, and will attach to almost any desk, then this is a great product. If you’re looking for something with a larger range of motion, this isn’t it. Although, it’s hard to beat the price point for what you’re getting. This arm also has cable management which I haven’t seen on other products. I’m currently using this product in my main setup and it’s been great.I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

Solid and we built. I have an Asus VG248QE mounted on this. Gas spring works perfectly. Easy to setup and install.

Solid mount

Used this mount for about a month and seems to be quite solid and sturdy. Was easy to assemble and hasn't required tightening yet. Easily allows rotation to portrait orientation. A quick release for the monitor would be nice.

These are holding my Samsung 28" monitors perfectly. They are strong and allow the movement I desire. One note is that I was hoping to have my monitors lifted off of my desk quite a bit, but because the VESA mount on the monitors is not centered, and is towards the top of the monitor, my monitors ended up being at the same height as before. By flipping them upside down, I have gained the height, but have to deal with issues such as viewing the monitor at angles for which viewing wasn't intended. Ultimately, the setup works, but I wanted to mention this in case someone had the same plan. This comes with the connector/clamp as shown in the picture, but also a second option for mounting. I'm not clear of how that works though.

This is the right arm for small monitor . It is light weighted and easy to install. A small problem is that the way to change the gas spring tension is diffident than what it shows from seller’s user manual

Very Flexible, Monitor mount

If you are looking for a well built monitor mount VESA compatible then this is a very solid product. Out of the box everything is included and very easy to understand. My Viewsonic monitor attracted with zero issues and was mounted in minutes. I like the cable management with this monitor as it keeps them from dangling. I would have liked the cable clips to be able to close completely but this would only be an issue if you were moving the monitor around a lot. The movement of the mount is excellent and it is very stable in design. Well-designed Desk mount

I was impressed with this desk mount right out of the box. I had 2 options for mounting; through the cable-hole in my desk or clamped to the back. With some products, it’s one or the other. Construction quality is excellent, there is very little play in the hinges, and my 22inch monitor doesn’t bounce or rattle with every bump! Cable management is simple and well designed with hangers along the arm and pole, large enough for thicker cables. Instructions are well laid-out and easy to follow. Takes about 15 mins to set up, depending on how messy your desk is. :) I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review
