This cable was purchased for use to connect a switch to a router in an office locale. It is very flexible but the jacket didn't curl or twist while laying it out. As a result, I purchased a second cable to use for a similar application. Good quality and value.

Ethernet cables have writing on the sleeve, giving tech specs about the cable. Sometimes it is very richly colored, sometimes it is not. I had a need to expose a white cable, & searched for one that had faintly-visible writing on the sleeve. (I couldn't do a 'extra slim' cable at 50', & certainly didn't want flat) The ad pictures showed this to be the best contender. I received it today, and YES it is. The spec writing on the sleeve is very faint, thank you! Yes the cable design is fine & speeds are great. Great price too. Thank you startech. I recommend this cable.

These cables worked like a charm to extend the cable coming into the house, which was a little short. I know have my desktop hard wired into the router at the other end of the house. I'm receiving exactly what I'm paying for from my internet provider 100mpbs. Actually I'm getting 118mbps. Before my WiFi was not working this well with anything to from 9mbps to 50mbps. I'm a happy camper.

I bought this for work, because I wanted a wired connection, rather than a wireless connection for my ancient work laptop. This works wonders for me, and I normally don't give out 5 star reviews on here oh and it's a great value for the size.
I'm setting up some outdoor PoE Security Cameras and figured 50 feet for each would be sufficient. So far, these have worked out great. Pros: -Feels Durable -No Connection loss / bad cords -Not easily kinked Cons: -Not rated for outdoors Overall: I've looked through a LOT of Ethernet cords to find the right set for a reasonable price. I ran these through my attic where they won't be exposed to the elements and I've had no issues whatsoever.
Basically, you plug one end into your internet box thingy, then you plug the other end into your computer tower. and presto bingo... it brings the internet to your computer!! but honestly, not much to say about a cable... cat6 is all i needed for my roomates computer, and it works great, great lenght, needed the 20ft to reach and hide the cable around baseboards and stuff.

Good Points: The cable was exactly the correct length to connect the BT TV unit, to the BT Hub, installed in another room.Once installed the BT picture and reception became first class.Improvement Points: Nothing, from ordering to installation everything went fine.
Cable is OK but for this brand the key length info does not appear in title when doing a search, You have to open each item to find the length; StarTech Cat6 Ethernet Patch Cable with Snagless RJ-45 is the search title. When ordering multiple lengths this is overly complicated and resulted in one cable being to short; not Staples fault but maybe this could be easily resolved,
