Strymon Deco V2 Tape Saturation & Doubletracker is the new version of this pedal that gives you the same features and warm sound as analog tape recorders from the time of the Beatles. This new version has a Tone knob and a Voice knob that lets you choose between classic and cassette saturation as well as a number of hardware improvements. Underneath this silver exterior is a world of possibilities. By saturating the input signal, you create a natural drive. In addition, this pedal can be used as a delay. It produces both a slap back echo and an analog tape delay. Then there is also a Wobble knob on it that gives you flange and chorus effects. [[READMORE]] This new version has full MIDI control, including MIDI clock synchronization and access to 300 presets via MIDI. It includes a USB-C connection for MIDI-over-USB and firmware updates, allowing bidirectional MIDI communication with a single cable using Strymon's Conduit interface. There is also free editor/librarian support via USB connectivity. The editor/librarian software will be launched in August 2022. The pedal has full stereo inputs and a MONO/STEREO input switch on the back of the unit; a big improvement and much more convenient than having to take the pedal apart to change the internal physical sweater position as on the original. Great pedal, if youre into classic retro sound!!! Tape side is an great drive with the nuances of a tape machine and the double tracker adds a fullness, and together its bliss. With all the controls, you can find multiple great sounds for any type of guitar, without being too complex, but you can do so much more if so inclined. Highly recommend catching some videos online

I usually have a hate/hate relationship with OD/distortion pedals and I'm not always patient with chorus/delays. I like clean but I like a bit of whatever thrown in there.Apparently, this pedal is the one I've been looking for. I guess that tape saturation is what I needed. Just a little bit of whatever and a bit of quality delay and I'm happy.

Great pedal, if youre into classic retro sound!!! Tape side is an great drive with the nuances of a tape machine and the double tracker adds a fullness, and together its bliss. With all the controls, you can find multiple great sounds for any type of guitar, without being too complex, but you can do so much more if so inclined. Highly recommend catching some videos online
Didn’t expect to love it so much, but this is just an incredible pedal. Use it at the end of my drives to add a bit of warmth from the saturation side. Makes everything sound better, also love the flange, slapback and delay. Worth every penny!
Great product great service great company.. what more can I say.
I value a pedal on frequency of use. My goal in purchasing this pedal was to thicken my single coil strat tone without distortion. The tape saturation side executes this to the point that it is pretty much an always on pedal for me now. I turn on the doubletracker side from time to time to play with the chorus and flange sounds. If you want delay, depend on a true delay pedal along with this one. Overall, to have an always on pedal to make my tone fatter, it is worth the expense.
I have to admit, I'm a bit of a Strymon fan and have just aded this updated version of the Deco (V2) pedal to my board. So far I'm really impressed with the sound and versatility.
