Suavecito Pomade Original Hold - 4 oz

- I'd been looking at getting some of Suavecito's range for a while, and finally decided to get on with it. Can happily say, I was not dissapointed!- Most of my reason for taking so long (a good 6+ months) was due to all the hearsay I'd heard about fakes being on places like eBay and Amazon for half of this price, but I also can say that this is the genuine article (with verification from Suavecito themselves) so anyone who buys this pomade from SlickStyles is getting 100% the same stuff that is sold in the store in Santa Ana in California fresh from 'the lab'.- Now onto the actual review of this pomade. I've used various pomades and waxes before in the past (From oil based pomades like "Black and White", other Water based like "Fish/Dapperfish Pomade" and waxes like "DAX Wax") and I can easily say that this is my favourite product I've ever used. I sport a shaved slicked back undercut (See Brad Pitt in the film "Fury" for a general idea) and this pomade is brilliant for giving me that slicked look, but without the greasy-ish look that comes from a Oil or Wax based product, and still gives enough hold to last the day. And as an extra note, if you ever need a bit of a touch up or a re-shape, just wetting your fingers and working it back works a treat! Now the smell, the infamous smell; I cant put my finger on why it is so appealing, but its got a really nice aroma to it. The only description I can give is that it just smells like a proper barbers, and there's just something about that scent that appeals to me. The smell doesnt really stay on your hair once you've put it in, but just getting a hint of it when I open the tub is nice enough.Final Thoughts: I absolutely love this product, and after waiting so long to try it, I'm definitely not dissapointed. And now I've got my eyes set on some of their other products in the Suavecito range (specifcally the Firme Hold.) This is totally worth the money and it's now earned a place as a staple of my pomade collection!

My husband and I both use this product. He uses it every day. I use it a couple times a week. We love the matte finish! I use other Suavecito products as well, but my husband will ONLY use this one because where we live it’s hot and the other pomades kind of melt and make your face and hair all greasy. This one’s great because it’s matte and doesn’t seems to do that. It has a great hold but not too sticky and it smells really good! We go through ALOT of this product in our household! Decent price point .

Suavecito is the best smelling pomade hands down. I use this particularly for work and it holds well all day. I have a gentleman’s cut combover and makes my cut look 10/10. This doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it seem thin and greasy. I alternate between a few pomades that I find occasion fitting. High shine, extra hold, a lot of sun or possible rain, certain pomades hold different and there’s one for all occasions. The consistency on the “light hold” is definitely “lighter” than the traditional suavecito which is fine and what I wanted. I didn’t want a hard hold and this is soft to medium hold. For best results-this should be applied specifically to showered dried hair. This should not be applied to damp or wet hair. Enjoy!

Best Pomade

I found this brand in the mall. Desperate for some pomade. I paid a pretty penny for this brand. Now I can see why I will never use anything else. It smells great. It holds great. It rinses out with just water if needed. Big fan. It’s also cheaper to buy from the company itself.

Best stuff around!!!

I've tried all the brands, big & small, expensive & cheap. The OG, Suavecito takes the cake!!! The matte formula keeps my hair looking natural but with some hold. Fast and the Furious Edition

Coolest pomade tin I've saw yet, so the fact that it's like adding a decoration to my bathroom is a huge plus. Scent is awesome. Before trying this out I had only used the oil based pomade which reigns Supreme to all other hair product brands. Honestly tried this one out bc I liked the fact that it was fast and the furious edition. Now I fight between which one to use because both of them are so good. Perfect texture. You can decide how much shine you get out of the product by the amount of water you use. It's truly a joy to have found Suavecito and I'd highly recommend it to anyone whose looking for a new hair product.

Just amazing stuff

Was turned onto suavecito OG about 8 yrs ago now. Totally wish it had been earlier. This pomade is reliably versatile and quite frankly a haircare staple, even my wife got into the suavecita line and she rarely uses product. Obv the scent is amazing and the limited editions just rock. I'm always super excited in anticipation of new release announcements, with only one over the years not doing it for me. Keep on keeping on, your stuff rocks🤘😎

Not very satisfied

I guess over the years, using suavecito I was very content. The smell, the hold, the quality. But with this one that I just bought I wasn’t happy, and I know with their return policy you can’t send it back even without touching it. I had a bad break out which I have a ENT appointment ever since I used this new product and saw that this was the only change I had. Weird right?? But don’t let my one bad review stop you from buying this product, every body is different. But honestly I wasn’t happy.

The advertisements don't lie!

I've recently finished using my first bottle of Suavecito. Switching over from another pomade company that promised the same results, I'll say Suavecito is in its own class. The scent lasts throughout a long grueling work day and the hold feels natural, unlike some other pomades that hold your hair like concrete. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who asks me about it!

Very satisfied customer

I recently ordered a Poncho and it arrived with a defect. I was certain they knew it, because it had a small white dot sticker on the defective area.I left a 2 star review that was less than kind. After 2 emails with pics of defect, I was emailed back saying someone would contact me ASAP. Didn’t hear back and just figured that was the end of it. Today I got a surprise package in the mail from Suavacito with a brand new Poncho! NO DEFECTS. I think I jumped the gun on my 2 star review. Even though I wasn’t personally contacted, the situation was rectified immediately, and that shows me they are a solid company. Thank You.PS: I never stopped using their pomade. It’s really the best. I’ve tried MANY other brands and they always come 2nd compared to Suavacito.
