Sun Bum Sunscreen Lotion SPF 8 oz

This sunscreen is good for daily stuff outside the house. I do use it because it is cheap and I don't break the bank using it, it provides a good amount of percentage of SPF. The texture is fine, and scent is not overwhelming. Only complaint is the white cast, especially when your in the beach. It does look a bit ridiculous. But if your someone who does not mind that, this sunscreen is good for you.

All the buzz... (pun intended)

I am pretty pale, and this stuff kept me from burning while spending a whole day out in the Texas sun. It's super thick, so you have to take a second to really make sure you spread it around, but it didn't leave me feeling like a grease ball. It didn't leave any oily stains on my clothes, either. I reapplied a couple of times through the day, and I didn't have so much as a pink spot.I did accidentally rub some around my eyes without noticing, and this stuff made me tear up and snot like I'd eaten a raw habanero when it finally seeped in. This is not unexpected with a chemical sunscreen, but my god, I looked like a plague victim at the ren faire for about 10 minutes. Dried lumpy!

Decided to try this suncream as we wanted something reef safe with going to Mexico. The smell is lovely but no matter how much you shake the bottle or not, as soon as the cream dries on your skin it was lumpy. I had 2 bottles which ended up in the bin as it just flaked off. No other product on the skin as always put on in the morning and never had an experience like it with any other brand of sunscreen before. A waste of money and disappointed.

Exploded everywhere

I was packing for Florida anod my mom told me to out all my liquids in a ziplock bag incase they leaked. So that's what i did and I am very happy because when I opened my suit case the plastic bag was filled with the sun up and everything in the bag was covered. I couldn't tell yoy if the product is could because I didn't even use it because it was such a mess. I got a new zip lock bag for it and cleaned it a little bit and put everything back in the bag making sure I closed the lid of sun bum. I got back home and what do I see? The lid was opened and it had spilled in the ziplock bag again. My other sun bum products and perfumes had sunscreen in every crevice and half the bottle was already empty and I haven't even purposely put it in me yet. Goes on easy and works well

This is the first sunscreen I've tried from Sun Bum. The biggest pro I've found is that it gets absorbed into the skin very quickly and thoroughly. There is no residue once it has been massaged. Its texture and viscosity are excellent (not too thick and not too runny). The biggest downside I've encountered is that it burns quite severely if it gets into your eyes. This may not be a problem for some, but it has been a huge issue for me. Use a sun stick around your eyes without exception. I don't think this is going to replace my favorite mineral sunscreen which I pretty much use every day, but I will use it as an alternative once or twice a week.

Good for body terrible for face

Product smells nice, sun bum has some of the nicest smelling products around.Products feels great on any skin that is not your face.The product feels a little oily when applied to face, so not recommended for oily faces or as a facial moisturizer, for instance it will always mix with sweat and fall into your eyes and mouth and it does not taste good and burning eyes is never a good thing. (This cannot be prevented.)Product is awfully expensive although I would say the size of the bottle is pretty decent.No skin irritation was present at all on body or face. (Product was used on face and body about 6 times.)

Great smell and even better sun protection

Sunbum makes my all time favorite sunscreen. It smells like a tropical beach vacation without that weird chemical smell that some sunscreens have. I’ve never noticed a white cast with this lotion either which is a huge plus. When applied as directed, I’ve found the protection to be perfect. I've spent entire days in the sun at the beach with no sunburn. I also have very sensitive skin and it has never caused any breakouts or issues, even with the fragrance. It’s my holy grail sunscreen for summer!

Incredible. Don’t buy anything else.

I am very fair skinned and have worked my way through a lot of brands over the years and finally….. yes finally I have found THE one! Smells great! Does not feel heavy or sticky or slimy. It just sinks into the skin. 100% sunbum convert. My husband also put this on his face, he’s a bit lazy, and even he commented how comfortable it felt.

One of the best sunscreen's out there!

In the summer I have a hard time finding sunscreen's I really like and will continue to use. I don't like the spray ones because most of the time when I really need to apply sunscreen, I am out on the lake and in the water. Spray sunscreen doesn't stay on when I get into the water, but with the SunBum original SPF 30, it really does! I have never had a problem with this sunscreen. In fact, it has always prevented me from getting a bad burn on the lake. I burn very easily on my face and my chest, and so I always lather those places up with my SunBum sunscreen and I never burn! It doesn't come off in the water, it rubs in very easily, and smells great! [Rewarded Review] Easy on and no greasiness

Every softball season my bald head tans to the point of looking like leather. Then the inevitable peeling. It sucks. But I got this lotion and not only does it protect my head, it allows a certain level of tanning. Plus, it’s not greasy!! My hand are dry to the touch and no slimy residue. Get it!!
