Gorgeous Geisha is my second favourite from T2's loose leaf tea blends. I like its subtle and interesting flavour which is fragrant and elegant. I drink it without milk or sugar so that I can savour its flavour profile.

I found that the strawberry flavour was quite chemically and one-dimensional (kind of like strawberry laces), and that it overwhelms any subtlety in the sencha. I normally find that senchas have a lot of fruitiness to them naturally, so thought strawberry would be complimentary, but this is so loud the sencha notes are lost.The tin is gorgeous though ❤️

I ordered a T2 advent calendar from Amazon and as it is December 1st, today was the first day! Gorgeous Geisha was the first one and I am incredibly impressed. Impressed enough that I came in search of the brand itself so that I could order some more of this one! The flavor is light and with a bit of Italian sweet cream, it was the perfect way to start my day. I'm imagining how it must taste served over ice and I'm super excited to order more and try it that way!

Went to buy my usual Gorgeous Geisha tea bags and ended up with the loose leaf instead. Slip of the finger but a great mistake as I've found the loose leaf is sooo much yummier! I have been drinking T2 Gorgeous Geisha bags for more than 2 years and it has gone up in my recommendation by finding and drinking the loose leaf instead of the bags. The loose leaf has a more full bodied flavour and no bitterness if you leave the tea to steep too long. Would imagine the leaves are a little more environmentally friendly to boot and I can get to cups out of a teaspoon of leaves. More for your money, whats not to like?
Given this tea's popularity and intriguing flavour – I reckoned it must be good, I wanted it to be good.Nope.The smell, is overbearingly artificial, like strawberry bubblegum or like starbursts. Smell this long enough and you'll get a headache.It's just generic green tea sprayed with this fuming strawberry scent.*contains artificial flavouring (not even strawberry pieces)*After drinking it though, my mouth was left with an aftertaste likewise to having binged a bag of candy, with sickly effects similar to a sugar hangover.And so, ironically, the soothing and healing effects of tea (esp. green tea), were negated for me by a thick coat of fake pungent 'strawberry goodness' that has scarred my senses for life... just kidding, but it's still really bad.
I just bought this tea a few months ago. I was drinking it warm then decided to try it cold because it is so warm outside. So grateful I did!! Now I put the tea in a 50oz Hydro Flask and drink 3 of those a day. No sugar just tea. It has been great. I just wish I knew the level of caffeine as I do like tea that highly caffeinated.
This is the only green tea I drink now. Perfect any time of the day, I love a cup between dinner and bed time, or in the middle of the day when I'm not quite sure what I want to drink. Delicate, beautifully aromatic, and the fruity flavour does not overpower the sencha, rather compliments it perfectly. Every time I open the tin I like to have a big huff on the leaves :) Refreshing and delicious. A word of caution - do not brew too long or too hot.
I like this green tea, I prefer this one to the Green Rose tea as I prefer fruity green teas. I wish you guys did a tangy raspberry or blackberry type green tea as I love tangy fruity green teas, the strawberry in this one is more creamy than anything. Still my fave green tea of your range though but please consider making a more tangy/tart fruitier green tea option. Beware of brewing too hot or too long as it can get bitter
I love T2 but the taste and name are horrible. I can understand why some would enjoy the taste however it has this sickly artificial flavouring like bubble gum coated. While the tea carries sencha, this is a horrible insult to Japanese culture and feeds into exoticised and orientalist fantasies of Geishas. Please change the name T2
I keep coming back for more! This is definitely one of my favorite green teas from t2. It’s such a unique flavor and I go through this a little bit too quickly. Highly recommend
