I found the instructions for the MFU 03 ,were a bit confusing ,I think it is the way it is written. A change of transmiter was soon sorted by Wonderland. A first class service all round. I have and will buy again from Wonderland.

Good sized model to work on! Makes you put on your thinking cap/ Verry challenging & you have to pay attention to detail! As being complicated with so much wiring but most satisfying part is assembling the mechanical components like differentials & gearboxes as like real box it has selector forks & not constant gear Mesh with centrifugal clutches! Gotta few R/C models with engine sound effects but none with engine vibration whenever it's start up or shut down! As this model has hundreds of parts, IAM going to enjoy taking my time building it over a few months as I hate rebuilding because of mistakes in rushing the project! Happy times is here again

The engineering of this kit was outstanding and the instructions so easy to follow and I would recommend this to anyone. However upon encountering a slight difficulty when installing and multi function kit things were not quite so straight forward. I telephoned Wonderland and all they did was refer me to the Tamia help line who were very good. You would have thought that Wondeland would have had more knowledge of the products they were selling.

I really needed a second chassis for my NYPD esu king hauler body, before I was just switching around two king hauler bodies on a one chassis depending on which one I wanted to drive and it got complicated now that it has the multi-function lights and sound kit. Also I painted my trailer 2 in 1 to match the bodies; one side of the panels is NYPD esu inspired and the other side of the is the panels is the intercontinental express
This truck is so much fun if you like to tinker with stuff. The build is so much fun a bit of a challenge definitely not for anyone under 15yr old takes lots of patience and unlimited upgrades. Love it
Building the Tamiya King Hauler was one of thebest model making experiences i've had.The quality of this kit is superb and the instructionswere first class. A couple of things that might be helpful to newcomers of this type of model-making----double check the parts lists and get used to how toidentify parts, particularly nuts and bolts. It'simportant to measure the length of screws as youuse them.A fabulous model and I recommend it .
been in the trucking hobby 10yrs plus. you build this from scratch. not just put one or two little things on it like the other ones. these are just awesome
I've never built this kit but I plan to with my dad. It should be tons of fun. I had this friend that built on and he said he really had fun. so I look foward to it. Even if I never built one the truck I've heard from on youtube was the best. I look foward to purchasing this truck as a perfect beginning to the life of trucking.
Just an amazing kit! The fit and finish on the parts are top notch and there are SO many aftermarket parts available for these Tamiya trucks. Personally I am converting mine into a dump truck with the sleeper cab removed. Beautiful model that is highly "customizable".
I haven't started assembly yet as I am finishing up another kit and still purchasing upgrade parts to personalize my model to look like a full-size truck I owned in the mid 80s. I did inspect the parts when the kit arrived and everything looks very well made with no flaws that I could find. The only criticism I have is the instructions could be more detailed for people that have not assembled this type of kit before. I have assembled a couple of Tamiya RC kits berfore and I still have to study the insruction book quite a bit to figure out how some sub-assemblies are supposed to go together. If there was more detailed written instructions I think assembly would go more smoothly since just a drawing is not alwasy clear on how an assembly is supposed to go together especially for first timers.
