Tarte Maneater Voluptuous Mascara - Black

I was in love with another mascara and didn’t think I could find another that could top it. However, I did manage to stumble upon one, it actually was sent to me in one of my monthly subscription boxes, Tarte’s Maneater Mascara. And it is everything I have been looking for. I absolutely love this mascara. The formula, package, wand, brush, and how it performs. The claims are 16 hour long wear with no clumping or flaking. It does last a long time so that I can account for. However it doesn’t clump or necessarily flake but it does transfer to my under eye area from my bottom lashes. Even with all those great things, there is still one issue that I find with all mascara’s, which is, they transfer to my under eye area. I despise it so much!! I think it keeps happening due to the fact I have oily skin. Because otherwise Idk why it would continue to do that. My under eye area ends up being black literally 20 minutes after I apply mascara no matter what I do differently, which there isn’t much I can do, except prime and set with not only setting spray but with setting powder. Made with Vitamin E, Jojoba, and Carnauba wax. Ophthalmologist tested and safe for contact lens wearers. Overall this is an amazing mascara, with the exception of running/transferring, I really like it a lot though. I definitely would purchase this and I do recommend this product.

I’ve tried a lot of mascaras, like A LOT! Maneater is hands down the best I’ve found. Let me start with the brush, it doesn’t have the fluffy spoolie that gets caked with product, like most other brands. It’s short micro spikes that seem to get every single little lash. The formula is great as well. Non-flaking! And it lasts all day. It gives your lashes length and fullness without caking them together. The bottle is gorgeous with the gold leopard design. 10/10!

The packaging of this mascara is what originally drew me in. I love the cheetah print on the tube, Tarte always has eye-catching packaging. The wand applicator is plastic, I love a plastic wand. When I typically use a mascara that has a plastic wand, I usually tend to get the longest, most separated lashes, that deliver nothing but DRAMA! Another thanks to the applicator and formula for leaving you with long, defined, separated lashes, that will have volume and will hold a curl. Say goodbye to clumps! This product comes off effortlessly when you're ready to remove it.

I’m very picky when it comes to mascara as it is one of my daily uses. I loved the length of the brush as well as the bristle size. I didn’t feel like it was overwhelming to my lash size. I make about 3 passes , let it dry a bit and then apply one or two more passes to get the right volume, fan, and thickness I desired. Towards the end of the mascara’s life it starts to get stale and really hard to apply. But not an issue when you first use the tube. I don’t like waterproof makeup and this tube is not waterproof so it worked great for me. Was very easy to come off and didn’t come off chunky. Love the travel size , especially just for an overnighter.

All time favorite mascara

This is my #1 mascara and the only mascara I've used over the last five years. I love voluminous lashes that look like you could be wearing falsies but not. I have very long lashes, so maybe that helps. But the formula is the best... product doesn't fake and it leaves my lashes SOFT. I hate crunchy mascara and maneater leaves your lashes touchable but still holds curl. The wand is great bc you can really coat every lash while building up great volume. I have used hypose drama, better than sex, and every other volume building mascara on the market until I found Maneater. I typically purchase black but saw they came out with brown which I have as well.

Best Mascara I have Ever Used!!

I purchased this quite a while ago, and only started to use it a few days ago. ( using another up first. ) WOW! I am almost 70 years old and this is the best mascara I have ever used, ( and at my age I have tried quite a few...) I am absolutely serious, nothing I have ever worn before has had quite the amazing impact this one did. I have thinning eyelashes, but they are quite long, and this wonderful product just made them look so long, full, and thick. Every lash evenly coated, with no clumping or joining and sticking them together. Absolutely no looking like I only have 6 or 7 lashes!! This is a wonderful product. I just wish I had known before. So delighted to have found it, and best of all it does not cost an arm and a leg!

My lashes are decently long with a slight curl to them and not too sparse so take that xontext into consideration. I have small eyes so mascara almost always hits my lid while applying. No biggie really i usually just wait for it to dry and slough it off with a spoolie or qtip. This brush is perfect though ive gotta say and i love that it comes in brown as a pale girlie. The wells so to speak in the brish allow you to apply the bulk of the product near the base of your lashes, slightly turn the handle, and comb it through. It doesn't smudge on my lower lashline which is rare to ssay the least. Dryer formula so that's definitely my preference. I usually just screw it back in and try again which is working. I'm not sure this product could be made better other than the stopper issue

I finally have eyelashes with this mascara

If you have tiny, short, thin eyelashes and are looking for a mascara to make it look like you actually have eyelashes, Maneater is the mascara for you!Holy moly, I am super amazed by this mascara. I pretty much have non-existent eyelashes and wear mascara every day (though the ones I've used in the past barely do anything), and I normally have to add a short strip of falsies just to give my eyelash area any dimension at all. Not with this mascara! This gives me EYELASHES! The before/after marketing pics on this product page are very true to what I have experienced using it as well!This is my go-to moving forward. I love this so much I do two coats and it's perfect. I do not have to wear falsies when I use this mascara! I thought this was great until..

I thought this was a great mascara until I tried a top japanese brand of mascara recently. Holy smokes the difference is night and day. I used to have to cake powders on my lower lid to prevent raccoon eyes with this mascara, but the japanese super waterproof mascara i tried absolutely does not budge. I can moisturize and keep my face looking dewy if i wanted and not a single smidge! Also it holds curl amazingly! With this tarte mascara my asian lashes are weighed down and are pin-straight after application no matter how much i curl them beforehand. I dont want to waste this bottle, im trying so hard to resist chucking it into the trash.

Ive tried 3-4 brown mascaras out there & this is by far the best & my go to. been using a few yrs now? Super happy with it. Brown color is beautiful, actually looks brown. The brush is perfect, easy to part the lashes w. doesnt dry too fast or go on too thick/clump. I do 1 coat & grab a somewhat fresh spoolie to seperate/brush them out more and take off any excess. It still has pretty solid coverage after that and the results are outstanding for just defining my natural lashes. Lasts forever too. I do kinda light/natural but you could def use multiple coats etc for whatever look ya goin for :) Tryyyy it ;;;)))
