I bought this hob Nov 2021 and I have not only had problems with it ever since, but I've also had some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced.*This product does not work* I have used Hobs before and I have the proper cookware that works with induction hobs. The low settings (P1 and P2) turn on and off constantly and P3 is often too high of a heat to do anything. Even on the boiling setting, you cannot do as simple of a task as poaching an egg as it over boils. When you turn it down to P2 the boiling is sporadic and not constant so it's difficult to boil anything properly. When boiling pasta, P3 is far too rapid and P1/P2 again is turning on and off so it's not a consistent boil. Even the stir-fry setting is faulty. When boiling pasta, P3 is far too rapid and P1/P2 again is turning on and off so it's not a consistent boil. Even the stir-fry setting is faulty. Sometimes P1 and P2 are on constantly and sometimes they turn off (keep in mind, I'm not referring to the Hob overheating and cooking is paused completely). As P3 for stir fry is far too high of a heat and P1/P2 are turning on and off, it's difficult to fry anything properly.I have been fighting with Tefal for over seven months now. Have now had to send the Hob back a third time and they have been extremely poor with communicating the whereabouts of the product. I have sent countless amounts of videos to prove this Hob is faulty and has been manufactured poorly but they refuse to own up to it. The first Hob I sent back was allegedly lost by DPD and they sent me a brand new one which was had the exact same defects. I then sent the new appliance back and with absolutely no communication back to me, it was returned to me 'repaired' with the same defects and faults as when I returned it. I then requested a refund on the product, and I have now had to send it back (for a THIRD TIME) to Head Office where it will allegedly be inspected again. If you do a lot of cooking, do not buy this product! Even if you want it for simple things like boiling or stir frying. Tefal has been a nightmare to deal with, DPD Service Care is a terrible system if you work or you have a busy schedule and won't be home, and I will never be buying a Tefal product ever again. There is a clear and obvious defect with the manufacturing of this product and Tefal is not taking responsibility for it.

Ordered to replace our older Tefal induction hob which we had used pretty much daily for almost 6yrs and proved to be highly reliable and great value for money. We have equal expectations of this latest purchase to replace it. Ordering was simple online, and arrived a day earlier than expected. Seems as simple to use as the previous trusty model. All good so far after 1 month of use.

These hobs are brilliant ... almost.Easy to use, controllable, easy to clean, large enough for large pans, cook very efficiently as they heat up almost instantly, cost very little to run, easily portable and plug into any standard electrical outlet (13 amp plug) ... so what's the catch?Well, if you use them every day, they only last about 12 months - which the engineers in my family tell me is absolutely unnecessary and is only because the electronics are not built well enough. This kind of technology should last much longer. So, in summary: if you don't use them often, they are perfect. However, if you are using it on a regular basis, don't expect it to last more than 12 months.

Good Points: It heats and cooks very fast. Less electricity billImprovement Points: For some reason it turns off suddenly sometimes. Maybe it's an option I have selected but I couldn't figure it out
