Great affordable switch. The key feature that I like: the ports are located on the back. This allows for easy cable management. My internet speed test improved after connecting this switch. It doesn't take up much desk space. The indicator lights aren't very bright but I haven't had any reason to check them since the switch has preformed exceptionally!

I needed to replace a 5 port gigabit switch that was mounted under my desk. My Wifi 6 network is very strong so the need was not urgent. While shopping at MicroCenter for another purchase, I stumbled across this little switch. It is a very affordable Gigabit Switch. I use it to extend my network to several devices that are at my desk. No issues with connectivity and it just works.

This unit did everything I was needing for a good amount less than other options I went to investigate. Stumbled across this one on the shelf while seeking out one of the others on my list that day. Does everything i need atm, with giving several more LAN plugs to my ever expanding list of gear that I can't stop adding lol. The speeds are as advertised and I couldn't be happier, esp for the sale price it was as well. I'll pick up another when the time comes that I'm out of ports, likely when I expand to another room and want to keep some things off the WAN.

I needed a second ethernet line in a back bedroom and decided to just buy a switch instead of hours of frustration running a new line through my basement. I mounted the switch behind my TV, then removed the ethernet line on my Roku, plugged it into the switch then ran a cable back to the Roku and another to my Chromecast Ultra. Now I can still enjoy uninterrupted media and play a little Stadia in 4k HDR. I paid $5-7 for the switch and used existing ethernet cables I already had. There are also two more ports available so I can branch off more if needed. I plan on buying another 1 or 2 in the future and cutting down the long single ran ethernet lines.
This is a 5 port gigabit, unmanaged switch. I deployed a prior model in a small commercial situation maybe as many as eight years ago. It has never missed a beat. Bought this one for home use. Mesh router came without enough ports. It is plastic. If you expect it to take abuse it might not be the right choice. If you are installing it where it will not be knocked around, it will last for years.
I needed a small light weight switch that required 5Vdc for 4 IP cameras that overlook my driveway The switch is mounted at the 8 foot level in my garage and is subject to ambient temperatures in the upper nineties. So far, all cameras are working perfectly with no connectivity issues. Although the front panel LED indicators are not real bright, I can see them from 3 feet away. I like the very small foot print, Bottom mounting holes and the front panel port indicators. Best of all, you can't beat the price
Donβt let the brand name or low price fool you - this switch is just as good as the bigger name brands. Itβs compact size makes it very easy to conceal and works right out of the box (no setup required, except for connecting cables). Only drawback, for me at least, was the location of the connection/activity lights. They are placed on the top of the switch instead of the front. If you are like me and want to see the connection lights, then I would recommend a different switch.
I've only had this for 23 days. I needed something cheaply priced to extend my wired network within my apartment. I also didn't need more ports than this provided. Opened the box, hooked it up and it works. I have a Spectrum 200MB speed plan so I don't know about the higher speeds. I haven't actually measured the speeds I'm getting because it works as fast as I'm used to so haven't felt the need for speed checks...yet. For $10.99 + tax, this was a good choice for me. I don't know the longevity of it yet but so far so good.
This is my go-to switch when I need a smaller cheaper switch that I know will work reliably. Since these little guys don't offer much in the way of "features" there's not a lot to go wrong with them, and I use them to extend VLAN segments; instead of having like a 24/48-port VLAN-aware switch for $$$$ and cabling a bunch of devices directly to it that are all communicating on the same VLAN, I take a smaller VLAN-aware switch and use this as a sort of mux to multiply my single VLAN'd port into 4 more. I haven't found much else that beats this on the value ratio, but sure you can find other switches with metal housings or "Green Gigabit" but really if you want a switch and don't need anything else, this is what I recommend.
When a nearby lightening strike disabled my Netgear GS108P (which I wasn't using for PoE) I wanted to replace it with something inexpensive that I could pick up locally. This Tenda unit fit the bill and has worked flawlessly since being installed. I have since protected my data lines with Ditek DTK-MRJEXTS ethernet surge protection so I expect this switch will last well beyond the 3 year warranty.
