Materials change, manufacturing grows.. we learn certain ways produce a lot of pollution and adjust. I have purchased several Teva Sandals over the years because of their comfort and durability. These sandals have a thinner sole with enough arch support for every day use. They are great for pool parties and dry quicker than other styles. These are also good for the beach as they don't collect sand like thicker sole styles do. I also love the blue color.

I have used Teva terra sandals for walking in summer for years because they are very hardy and super comfortable and adjustable. I saw these and thought they are not so heavy and would look good with dresses and jeans rather than the chunky Tevas which I have, and am very pleased with them. Just as comfortable and adjustable and fun looking. So good in fact I have bought a similar pair in another colour. So pleased M&S selling them.

Bought these just before a trip to Costa Rica. Wore them a tiny bit at home before hand, but not much at all. I did a fair bit of light jungle hiking over thick mud, on slippery rocks and steep dirt track hills- the sandals really surprised me in being robust and super comfy. The soul has a nice cushioned feel to it, yet feels sturdy and supportive. Only slight issue was the outer triangular bit on the front straps rubbed a tiny bit by the little toe- but no where near enough to cause a blister or discomfort after taking them off. As someone who really hates the look of ‘regular’ walking sandals, these were a great alternative- overall, a really good purchase!
I bought these today and love them! I was looking for a pair of outdoor sandals with an open toe keeping much of the foot exposed but would work in the great outdoors. I've had some outdoor sandals that keep most of the foot closed including the toes but not backs. Seeing that many wear open toes when hiking or backpacking as long as the sandals are sturdy and broken in they should work so I thought I'd try them. Slipping them on made me love them instantly! After I made the purchase, I put them right on before leaving the store and haven't wanted to remove them since they're SO COOL and COMFY! They go with shorts, jeans, khakis, workout pants, you name it! I've had no trouble breaking them in and I can't wait to wear them on my next hike! These are the BEST!!!
I got this on recommendation from friends. I understand that they are meant to act like a cross between flip flops and hiking shoes but to me I thought they were neither rugged enough to hike or comfy enough to wear to the beach. Personally I would just rather wear hiking boots or flip flops or crocs. Just didn't suit my needs very well but I can see the appeal for people who don't need them to be as good on the trails. Admittedly I may have used them on rougher terrain than they are intended for but I was not very satisfied. Also the second my feet started to sweat I felt like I was walking on two slip and slides. My toes would hang over the shoe from the slippery soles.
Wear the sandals daily. Now that it's getting colder, easy to adjust to accommodate sock wearing. Size was what I expected, my usually purchased footwear size. Will wait til spring to buy another color (other than the basic black).Hope you take no offense: but since I'm a former Viet Nam Era Marine, I refer to them, around the house, as my Ho Chi Min sandals.Like your product.....get them made in the USA!Robert E. As someone who regularly wears their tevas throughout the humid summers of new england, my old reliable pair started to deteriorate after about a decade. I ordered a new pair. These new ones are MUCH different than my last pair. Specifically with the webbing and the sole. The sole is much stiffer, which i think over time will actually be a positive. The webbing, though. The webbing is much much thinner than before, much less burly. I'm very curious to see how these will hold up over time. The webbing might dry faster? But my foot already feels not as secure. We'll see.
I am a 7.5 got the 8. Purchased to walk around a Europe trip. Put them on and had to take them off in 30 minutes. The straps chafed both inside and outside of foot. The rear straps are comfortable and the sole. The front chafes the great toe area and pinky toe area. I don't see how one can where these all day. The straps are a rough material. Disappointing the reviews say can wear all day, not true.
