Teva Terra Fi Lite Sandals - Rambler Black

There are many elements of these that I find great. The cushion is great and I love that the strap connection points are covered and the straps themselves are lightly padded.Unfortunately the fit for me was a bit long and narrow. I'm an 11 in most shoes even though I'm probably a true 10.5 but ordered an 11 in these. 10.5 wasn't available anyways. I could live with this even though it compromised the ability to do anything more than light trails and casual use, forget using them for anything technical. These also lack some rigidity in the soles for that type of use, but that is just personal preference. Only have had them for a couple weeks and wore them probably 5 times. I am returning these in light of this issue. An adventure sandal that can't handle much adventure has no use to me.

I've had several pairs of your TERRA Fi 5 and one pair of STRTA, loved them all literally to pieces over many many miles, would recommend either model without any reservation The TERRA Fi LITE not so much. It seems that the padding on the straps both heel and toe doesn't cover enough and rubs, never had that happen before. Also the straps seem shorter and narrower. Understandably the foot pad and sole were thinner to make them lighter, I was OK with that. Bought the LITEs because you had them on sale, bad move. Will be ordering another pair of Fi5s or STRATA soon and will send LITEs back to you, don't want them on my blistered feet again.

I've worn Teva sandals for decades. I wear them all year. The only times I don't wear them are at work and if its very cold and wet (cold is okay, and wet is okay, but I draw the line at snow!). Two years ago I decided to try the FI Lites after my FI 4 pair finally wore out after six years of wear and abuse. I could immediately tell that they were lighter and thinner, but they're still very comfortable. But, I do prefer the sturdiness that I get from the FI 4. After one year a part of the sole was cracked, and after two years, they are worn through the soles in several places. The soles of the FI Lites are far more worn after two years than the six year old FI 4 pair I bought them to replace.
