Thayers Witch Hazel With Aloe Vera Astringent - Lemon - 12 fl oz

I bought this product after a recommendation of a fellow makeup artist. I was looking to replace the toner that I had in my kit with this. I was attracted to it being all natural and the price was amazing for the amount of product that you are getting. I guess I was just very used to milder toners. This is definitely more of an astringent since it dries out the skin a bit after application. I usually look for ones that does not leave the skin too dry- so this was a pass for me. This will probably work for people with more oily skin. I just prefer somewhat more of a softer formula. It is worth giving a try though because the price is great. You can easily find this at a Whole Foods.

Thayers Witch Hazel Astringent and Toners have been part of my forray into getting to know my skin and my skin care journey. I was tired of buying toners that contained alcohol which would dry out my skin and cause me to break out. I found this on Amazon and it had great reviews and was cost effective... seemed too good to be true, right? I have been using these for years now and have tried the Rose 🌹, Cucumber 🥒 and now Lemon 🍋. They all have the same great benefits and I find the Lemon is a great addition to help refresh and wake your skin up in the morning. I definitely recommend giving this a try, especially if you have been using an alcohol based toner. Ditch it and notice the difference without breaking the bank!

I’ve used Thayers Original astringent for probably 5 years now I love it. This lemon one is even better because of the smell-helps you feel more refreshed. It makes me feel clean and I’ve been hooked my mom and sisters on it. We use it for so many things. I usually use it if i’m lazy and don’t wanan wash my face so i just wet a paper towel with water and then add a few drops of this. I also use it to freshen up if i’ve sweat on my face or just need to cool off. Another cool thing is that you can use it to clean off areas like when popping pimples or plucking your eyebrows, I use it to wipe my skin afterwards to help stop bacteria or infection

Toners have always been one of my must haves and although my skin is in pretty good condition I do like the freshness of a citrus infused toner (generally for combi/acne prone skin). What I love more is that this is an astringent, so it’ll also tighten the pores and firm the skin, even the tone etc. I LOVE how clean my skin feels after using it, SOOO fresh and sets my skin up nicely for the rest of my skincare routine. I wouldn’t be without it now!

!!!!XXxxxx!!!! The worst toner ever!!! I don't have sensitive skin or any major skin issues. I would not recommend this toner to anyone. As soon as I apply it, it feels as if my face was on fire which I feel it's because of the lemon that it has. Also, the tightness is Unbearable. I cannot imagine what it would do sensitive or acne prone skin. #skincare #thayers

I really love this Thayers Lemon Astringent! It smells so fresh and clean, and leaves my skin soft as well. My skin looks and feels so much better after using this. I also love that it doesn't irritate my skin! Great value for the price! I find it on clearance at Marshall's sometimes!

I have a mixed feelings about this product. I’m a long term user of the rose version of this toner, but wanted to try this lemon one as this one is specifically targeted acne. When I tried the first time, my skin got a bit dry but felt fresh and clean. I thought it might work. But then I used this for lotion pack the next day, leaving it on my skin for like 10 min or so with a cotton pad. After that, the area I had this on got red like burnt or had allergic reaction. Over the next couple of days, this red area began to peel. I think the toner was too strong or I left it on my skin too long. So now I just use it to wipe my skin and not leave it on my skin.

I was meant to order the Rose petal one. Either I accidentally ordered the wrong one or Boots gave me the wrong one. Either way, i ended up really loving this. The lemon smells lovely. I noticed my skin looks better too. Now got me thinking if I should stick with this one next time or try the Rose petal one.
