The Art of Super Mario Odyssey [Book]

Product came exactly as it was described.Also Walmart did an excellent job with there packaging. I had ordered other familiar books threw Amazon and they just tossed it in a box 2 times bigger than the actual book so my books came in damaged. Walmart may be a few cents more than Amazon price wise but it’s well worth with it with the shipping and packaging they offer.

Colourful and Creative

This book provides a lot of content - there are many drawings and comments about the theme of the game and information in general about each of the worlds that appear in Super Mario Odyssey.

Delightful, Extensive Look into a Great Game

This is a very colorful book filled with diverse styles and depictions of the Super Mario Odyssey's world. It is well-spaced and well-paced, and is quite heavy on text, compared to other art books. This artbook encompasses the entirety of the game, and everything outside the game too. I like how the artbook progresses in the same manner as the game, making it feel like a great refresher to a nostalgic journey, or a smooth telling of events for those who haven’t yet finished the game. There is more early conceptual art than there is promotional material, but regardless, this is a very large and hefty book (360 pages)! While the book itself is sturdy, the included slipcover is entirely plastic and quite fragile.

Sooo worth your money

when I bought this I assumed it would be a smaller book with 100 or so pages and drawings for a Mario fan, but no this giant book has 350 MASSIVE pages with 5-8 big drawings filled with notes, insights from the creators, and creative ideas that didn't quite make it to the game. this will bring you several joy-filled hours and is a gem of a coffee table for any Nintendo fan.
