Still one of my favourite whiskeys of all time - smooth and just a little bit sweet on flavour with long, slow legs. The single barrel version is a little stronger than previous batches so I prefer to put it over a single ice cube but otherwise a great dram!

Love the smokiness of this whiskey, beautiful to sip with whiskey cubes to cool. Gives a nice warm feeling on a cold day.
Balvenie is probably my favorite scotch. I have yet to find a variety that isn’t delicious and perfect.
Delivery is fast, accurate, and product packaging is perfect.Of course, whiskey tastes perfect, too.
I have been buying Balvenie single Barrel and other offerings for nearly 20 years. I find the product to be a great entry level Scotch Whiskey, Peaty, but not overpowering, Smokey but not too much. This is a great bottle to start your adventure with Scotch Whiskey. It introduces you to the complex flavors and I love being able to buy numbered bottles from the same barrel to display the differences from various places in the barrel. I can't say it's an Island Scotch, but it is a beautiful example of a carefully made artisanal product. I can always count on Balvenie to deliver a great flavor, every dram!
I have not tasted this whisky yet, but I expect it to be good!I have had the 12 year single barrel and it was good. So I hope this is better.
