The Body Shop Shea Body Butter 400 ml

Been using this for over a decade now. It has always been effective in treating dry skin and keeping my skin moisturized. It works very well on my sensitive skin. Smells nice and not overpowering. A small amount goes a long way. Received my order earlier than the set ETA. Thank you Body Shop and Logistics Team for the prompt processing and delivery of my order.

This body butter smells amazing and moisturizes like no another. A really nice subtle fragrance and not at all greasy feeling. I’ve tried many other brands and this one is by far my best choice. One tub lasts ages, it lasted half a year of regular use. The body butter smells lovely and really softens my skin. Highly recommended.

Of all the things you can't put in your travel bag...why choose this one? What is the durability? How to organize it among the other products? What is the size? What is the quality? Is it really worth it? What is the texture? What is the finish? What is the coverage? What is the scent? What about packaging? What is the application technique? What is the pigmentation level? What is the drying time? Does it work on all seasons and weather? Is it water resistant? What is the shimmer? What is the blendability? Is it effective? Is it of good value? What are the ingredients? Does it seperate? Does it dry out? Do you build on it? What color is it? Does it match or flow with everything else?

Amazing

I love this! This is the real deal. I've been using this for years. I'll agree with some of the other reviews that the formula has changed but I don't know what they're talking about when it comes to clumping. It's thick so it's definitely not creamy enough for it to glide on. If that's what you're looking for, then an oil or lotion would be suited better for you. This needs to be thoroughly massaged into the skin for it to be fully absorbed. I've had no problems with clumping or it being rubbed off and it leaves my skin fully moisturized for over 12 hours.

Excellent shea butter product

Yes, the consistency is bit like spreading butter but that's how shea butter is - not super-creamy, gloppy, or gooey like other body butters. Spreads easily, absorbed well, kept skin feeling moist but not greasy. I was using Burt's Bees hand salve on my dry feet, but that product does leave a greasy feeling. I'm going to use this Body Shop shea butter for my feet instead of the Burt's Bees. Scent isn't great (sort of like hairspray) but that's what shea butter smells like. Glad they don't cover it up strong artificial scents. If you are looking for actual shea butter, this is a good product.

My first Body shop purchase ever.

So I have been lately having very much dryness on sking after birth of my son. I was looking for a investable body butter which can be used for atleast two seasons and not too strong but subtle scent and I purchased this. I have zero regrets. It's so soothing,. So moisturizing and so buttery. Not too hard. Not too soft just the right consistency and texture for a body butter. Go for it. U won't regret.

New formula has no scent

This used to be my favorite lotion/body butter of all time but the new formula is so disappointing. While the new packaging is kind of cheap looking, I understand the need for limiting waste. But did that need to affect the formula? At best it smells and feels like plain wax. It's less moisturizing and doesn't have that warm and buttery smell anymore. I definitely wouldn't recommend and I'll be returning the one I bought. Also be weary of the tube lotion version, I didn't pick it up because in the store the bottle felt limp like it was made out of paper, I can't imagine it holding up for very long. Please bring the old version back even if it costs more to make! This product feels pointless now since it doesn't smell good or even keep the skin moisturized.

Not the same

I'm hoping The Body Shop didn't change all their body butters to be like this. Think scooping cold butter to try and spread it on warm toast. That's how hard you have to work this in-it absorbs well & doesn't leave a film but it's not easily spreadable. It's definitely not the creamy, glowing moisturizer I used to love. The smell is strange too-not like the shea smell I'm used to. And it's definitely not worth almost $40-for how much I have to use to get it to spread across my entire body it's not gonna last long. I will not repurchase this.
