Amazing bag! I've used this bag multiple times already. It's convenient as both a car-trip and airline under-seat personal bag. The materials feel durable and quality made. I appreciate the versatility and design as it makes transporting a breeze. I didn't realize how useful the backpack straps and handles would be. I pack light and generally use packing cubes for travel, making this my new go-to bag.

So I have many of these, from the original design to newer end pocket design. I will tell you this they can last a lifetime. My first set was a XS, SM, M, and Large if the Purple. Bought over 15 years ago the bags still look pretty good. You can store everything in these and that's what I have done. You can find any use case scenarios for these. I've placed one in my travel backpack (osprey transport 40) for when I go shopping then I pull this out and I have a bag ready front the flight home that's carry on approved (XS and SM are for sure)

I brought this duffel on a recent weekend trip, and it held so many things! I love that the material is able to expand so you can literally keep shoving things into crevices. The zipper was a little tough, but I think that might be a good thing to keep the duffel closed. The friend I was visiting saw the duffel and immediately said it was so cute and she was tempted to buy her own! Would definitely recommend this duffel!

The bag is typical North Face quality, but the advertisement Al's had attached was poor. Didn't notice the "XS" beyond the description and in the pictures attached a model is using the bag which apparently is the "XL" version. My fault for not paying attention, but seems a bit odd to be selling one bag but showing pictures that represent size of a much larger bag. This one holds a pair of boots fine but little else.
After my old gym bag duffle fell apart, I wanted to invest in a solid new one to last. I researched a few different options and read many reviews. Looks - this bad is 5/5 great look. Functionality - 5/5 perfect size for all my belts, straps, chalk, bottles, chains, whips etc without being too unwieldy. Price - 4/5 I say 4 because the closest competition I was considering was about $20 less, but hopefully this will outlast. Maintenance - 5/5 so far, the easy to clean material is nice for someone who uses chalk and spills drinks often.Misc: The top zippers can be tougher to pull unless pulled from a certain angle. Lastly, I read one review that gave me pause because they mentioned it was hard to use the included handles over the shoulder. I do in fact agree with that, I am not a fan of the backpack handles at all, so I removed them and fastened the shoulder strap from my old duffle instead. No complaints now, but maybe NF can add an optional shoulder strap.
This is my go-to bag for weekend trips. I've also used it for extended trips around Europe and the Middle East and it's been fantastic. I've taken it on several Ryanair flights and it passes as a personal item so you don't need to pay extra for bags. I also love the look and the large single compartment for flexibility when packing.
I've only used it once so far but I can see how good it's going to be. Not too big and not to small for an overnighter. I love that it is waterproof and has a good overlap on the flap to keep the zip dry. Very important during a Tasmanian winter. It's all still a bit stiff and new atm but over time I think it will soften up. Very happy with the funky little thing. Thank you.
Really enjoyed this bag as a small day bag or "personal item" for airplanes. Unfortunately it didn't take long for zipper seam to become frayed and ruined zippers. If the zipper seams were higher quality and lasted more than 6 months this would have 5 stars. Hoping to get a discount on next bag and i will definitely buy a second one.
I hated this bag so much I would have thrown it away on a recent trip if I hadn't needed it to get all of my items home. I tried to use it as a single-strap duffle and my God, it does not like that. It wouldn't stay on my shoulder, it didn't work cross-body, it wouldn't stay balanced on my rolly bag. It was on a mission to make my travel miserable and it overachieved. Only use it as a backpack lest you make it angry and spiteful.
Hardy, compact, comfortable and good looking. Was torn between the XS and S, but went with XS because it was that little bit more compact. Ticks all the boxes for weekend or lightweight travel without the need to check anything in if you're flying. Love the colour selection too, will be buying my partner one for our next adventures.
