Great Gel Moisturiser

I was sent this as part of the tester scheme so I didn't really know what to expect but I am really pleased with it! I have combination skin that gets quite oily/greasy throughout the day no matter what I do. Like many others, I was expecting a cream at first but was pleasantly surprised to find it was a gel moisturiser. I find that gel moisturisers work best for my skin so I knew then that it was definitely going to be good for me. A little really does go a long way and it spreads incredibly well. From my first use, I noticed an immediate difference in how my skin lasted throughout the day. It is definitely a lighter moisturiser (which I prefer) so I would definitely recommend it for summer. Overall, this has become my new morning moisturiser and I will definitely be buying another!

I have very dehydrated skin so I can’t get away with using this moisturizer as it is. Instead, I use it like a serum. It has a very serum-like consistency (maybe a little thicker) and has great ingredients to lay down first like a good serum. I then follow up with any other specific-cause serum (like vitamin C from The Ordinary or another brand) and lastly, the Ordinary’s newest moisturizer with ceramides (which my skin LOVES). My skin has been loving it and I haven’t had a break-out in months. My pores are much tighter and my skin is smooth and glowy. If you’ve purchased this moisturizer with beta-glucan and it seems too light for your skin, give it another try as a serum. Plus, 100ml at this low price and with these ingredients is amazing. I have found a new face cream to replace my expensive yet effective Boots No7 products. I was incredibly impressed with level of moisture, how it reduces redness, and what my skin feels like during the day and when I wake. It works well under my fake tan serum and foundation (both are water-based, if yours are oil based you may encounter problems). I went to London yesterday and despite the horrors of the underground and mad fluctuations between office and outdoor climates, my makeup stayed put. This therefore tells me this gel works well with my makeup fixing spray. I can't believe I can get all this out of massive tube that only costs £12.

I was sent this product to review by SpaceNK and I have genuinely really liked it. I'm super picky about creams and moisturisers and the way they feel on my skin so when I got this product I wasn't holding out much hope that I would like it - but I was wrong. The texture is more of a gel but the product acts like a really hydrating, thick "traditional" moisturiser which I like because my skin is combination and needs a decent moisturiser at all times!!! I’ve been using this moisturizer as a day time moisturizer before applying my sunscreen to combat dry oily skin as a result of the weather.I was really excited to receive this moisturizer when I saw that it contained beta glucan because of its humectant and revitalizing properties!! As you can see, there are red spots and redness around the nose areaMy skin is very reactive to moisturizers, but skin absolutely LOVED this one!! I experienced no inflammatory response like I have sometimes do with other moisturizers (cough cough First Aid Beauty).This moisturizer will be replacing my Keihls Ultra Facial Cream as I feel it has the same lightweight consistency, better humectant properties, and has a more reasonable price point.
