TheBalm Meet Matte Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick - Humble 7.4ml

If you haven t tried the balm liquid lips and like liquid lipsticks You NEED too! These are 1 of 2 liquid lipsticks I have worn amd didn't notice after they dried! They are so pigmented but so lightweight you don't feel it! Not mention they are not dying at all! Its like liquid lip wizardry or something! Oh and they smell like heaven and by heaven I mean mint chocolate! If you haven't tried them I highly recommend getting one of these mini kits! They have like 9 of them now! So there is def one for everyone! They also have them with glosses, stains and plumpers! So you can get an idea of what you like before commit to a full size! I can't say how many uses is in one little tube but I have used some of mine multiple times and they are still going! Products from theBalm seem to be hit or miss in my experience. Their lipsticks, I like. Their eyeshadow, never been too impressed. Their highlighters, holy grail stuff. BUT, I have to say that this one particular lipstick is amazing. The Meet Matte Hughes liquid lipstick in Loyal is my favorite red out of all of the lipsticks I own (which is somewhat of an extensive collection). The shade of red is absolutely perfect, it dries down to matte fabulously, and boy does it last! You could wear it through an entire 7-course meal and come out completely unscathed. A hidden gem among lipsticks!

I found the formula comfortable on the lips, the minty scent pleasant, the color opaque and beautiful for day to night, and durability and quality good!It’s my first time to try theBalm lipsticks, and I loved Comitted so much that I bought this shade, Charming! You can see a comparison of the two colors in the picture. Committed is lighter and more peachy (but still looks good on my cool undertoned skin - see my review for that shade), and I prefer it for day. Charming is darker, also a beautiful shade, suitable for day to night. I was expecting Charming to be a pinky mauve color but on me it looked more like a dark pink/cool toned red. Excellent!

Love the colour. I bought charming and committed. Charming is more rosy and mauve. Great texture and quality. It has a vanilla mint scent which is pleasing. The applicator has a fine tip that is essential for precision. It doesn’t feel too dry on my lips no cracking but it isn’t the most long lasting lipstick in the world. It comes off pretty fast when you eat. But I have no complaints because I prefer more comfortable than longevity. I would buy more if they have more colours available.

LOVE this! Wish there were more color options

Works great for me - tried this for the first time yesterday. I put it on and went for a buffet lunch with friends. 3h later (eating and drinking and chatting throughout with no touch ups) most of it was still on and color stayed the same. The only part that faded was the middle of my lower lip. Getting more in my next order before it gets discontinued!IHerb - please bring the make-up in this series back! I just discovered it!!

Looks really pretty and doesn’t “crack”

It’s such a pretty color!!! It’s super smooth, it’s got mint something in it so it feels a tad tingling and cooling til it dries and smells amazing. It doesn’t hydrate my lips much, but it in no way dries my lips out, and I think it moisturizes my lips a bit cause they get a little softer when I use it. It goes on super smooth, and is easy to apply. It never “cracks” like some matte lipsticks. My only complaint is longevity. It’ll last all day, if you don’t eat anything, lick your lips much, or make out. If you eat anything other than a snack like a banana or something that won’t touch your lips, it’ll come right off and you’ll definitely have to reapply. Kissing is pretty good, as long as it’s not intense. You certainly won’t cover whoever your kissing in lipstick, ... MoreIt’s such a pretty color!!!
