Bought this 2 weeks ago mainly to record our travel and be assured that it captures events while On the road. Very much satisfied with it as we already own a different model but this one is definitely cheaper than what we have. couldn’t see any reason why not buy this product.

Works well, easy to install. Video is good. Connecting to WIFI is easy. I added the optional GPS best thing I did.
I was advised to buy hardwire kit as it only came with car charger. When I opened packet there was only a hardwire kit and no car charger. The instructions said it came with car charger and GPS antenna which it doesn’t. Took it back to the store and even salesman confused so he opened another box which was exactly the same. I also got the rear camera which I’ve now found out that the cord supplied is not long enough to install in my 4x4. So overall not happy at all and plan to return to the shop.
Someone hit the back of my sons car & didn’t stop. Full insurance still charges you if you don’t have any name or evidence of vehicle.So I bought this camera, with just watching a couple you tube videos from ThinkWare I was able to hard wire the camera within a afternoon.Funny enough within the week I witnessed someone run into a parked car and flee. I was able to contact the police and supply evidence within 5 minutes, because I could download on the spot via wifi.
There are no installation instructions in the box, need to do an online search and progress from there. The camera works fine, however the picture quality could be better given it is supposed to be a quality product of which is disappointing.
Had it installed yesterday. Only problem is thaat we can not pair it to opur OPPo A57 mobile phones. Android phones. Went as per the manual. However you can not get Thinkware Cloud through play store. Other than that the camera is working . Have you got any ideas.
I had purchase a cheaper camera in the past & we all know what happened there… it didn’t last… so without one for a while & during a conversation I decided to do a search on a replacement. Not needing anything to fancy however came across this Thinkware model. Not bad at all… I did purchase the GPS antenna separately ($65) however they should supply the cigarette light power adapter ($35 - from a 3rd party retailer) as well, so a word of advice the cable that comes with this kit is for a permanent install. With a rear camera too, it’s fairly easy to setup once you know where you’re going to run the wires. However getting it connected to the iPhone app wasn’t easy as I was being promoted by the app that the camera wasn’t supported and a firmware was required. After using the SD card adaptor, plugging it into my PC, downloading the software and the program completing / updating the files, I thought all was ok. Plugged the SD card back in, tried to connect the camera and phone via wifi and still the same prompt. After more searching, it was a setting for the Thinkware app via the Privacy settings that needs to be turned on to allow the wifi connection. Once sorted there, wow the picture quality is quite good! You can view the front and rear camera via the app, download any videos rather needing to remove the SD card. It’s been about a week now, so no comment yet on recordings but nice alerts to cameras etc.
EasyPeasy self install with the hard wired option connected to head up display wiring directly copied from YouTube video on how easy. Gives front and back clear pics with duration selectable parked mode observation. Won’t break the bank and very slick to use.
Good unit, decent price. Hardwired to car (kit provided). Was on sale $300 down from $420
