Great quality. Excellent capsule product compared to most vitamin D supplements available. I noticed a great difference in energy. I would only recommend these if you have a vitamin D deficiency and your doctor has recommended taking vitamin D supplements as these have a very high dose of vitamin D. Also, I would not recommend taking these with multivitamin tablets containing vitamin D.

At the first signs of a cold I add this to my supplements. It hasn't failed to disappoint over the years. Very well priced & at 5,000 iu you are getting a decent dose without having t o continually supplement.The packaging is sealed adequately & is a useful addition to the sun to provide levels of immunity.

I tested my vitamin D levels earlier this year with Modern Age and was pretty low. Dr. Vinjamoori suggested that I may feel a noticeable difference in my energy if I increased my levels. I began taking this supplement 1x a day in April and just retested this week (October). My Vitamin D level has dramatically increased and I am noticing less fatigue overall. I'm excited to see the difference this makes this fall/winter when I won't be getting as much sun as I have this summer. At only $15 a bottle, this is a sustainable option for me! I am keen to try the injection too!
A potent dose of Vitamin D3. It is safe to take as you an go up to 10,000 IU per day. This means you can take a max of 2 gels per day. These caps are small and easy to take and to swallow. It is recommended to take them with meal, but you don't take them with meal you shouldn't have an upset stomach. Please note that it is necessary to have enough D3 daily in order to keep healthy and fight off any inflammation. You can add to your daily regiment as well Vitamin C and Zinc for an even better protection.
Thorne supplements are very highly reputable. This Vitamin D is a gem because it is not made from lanolin like most Vitamin D supplements. I purchase the 5,000 IU and have had remarkable improvements in my blood work vitamin D levels since switching from the 1,000 IU. I need the higher dosage because I do not eat dairy products. I've also noticed better strength in my shoulders and joints since imcreasing my dosage. Highly recommend it.
Good supplement and very easy on the stomach. I am very pleased with my purchase the dosage is high enough because we don’t get enough sun in the uk. The packaging is nice and compact. Hopefully I can feel the effects and resolve a deficiency. Thorne is known for its products absorption so very pleased.
