I have been using the T818 for a few weeks now and I could not be happier.I can only recommend choosing this wheelbase if you are planning to upgrade to a direct drive set-up. The wheel is able to put out 10nm of torque power, keeping the pressure consistent even when taking turns. I knew upgrading to a DD wheel would help me improve my driving, but I did not expect it to have such a big impact almost immediately.There are a few things to keep in mind though:The mounting points of the T818 are unique and do not fit on ANY existing rig currently in the market. What does this mean? You will either have to buy the mounting kit (35$) on the thrustmaster website or drill the mounting holes yourself on your rig. ( best and easiest choice) A desk clamp can also be ...
