The cross has some great upgrades from the cougar. A couple things I would like to see improved still… if you could give the running wheel a swivel option like my urban glide, I’d just give you all my money. I live on a gravel road and the tiny stroller wheels are useless. I don’t run though and find the fixed wheel a huge bummer. Im not crazy about the new covers situation or the cargo box either. Otherwise, love the improvements.

Best of the best!

It sure is an investment but so worth it! I was having a hard time finding the time to train for my trail running races with our 9 month old... Now I can easily take her with me on my runs everyday after work, and she loves it!Really impressed with the overall quality, you get what you pay for!Cannot wait to try the bike mode - mostly using the jogger mode so far.

My wife and I opted to buy this multi-purpose stroller instead of a stroller, bike trailer, and jogging stroller. It started exceeding expectations right out of the box and has continued to do so. Our child is too young for the bike trailer piece but every other activity with it has been great. I'll note that it does seem to be warmer in the stroller so I recommend taking that into account as you dress your child. I also recommend pumping your tyres!

Going on 4 yrs and still use it regularly.
6 June 2022

We've been using the chariot for 3 going on 4 yrs now. We have all the attachments, and have used all of them other than the skis due to work schedules not lining up with good days to cross country ski. The only issues we have had with it, is some threads getting cut from a plastic bur on the piece that snaps the screen to the base (epoxy fixed that) and getting a flat from glass. Our son is currently sleeping in it right now, we bike back from the zoo, as I write this review. The price is a little steep but worth it if you can get it on sale like we did when we were pregnant with our son. We've taken this thing on countless bike trips around town, for dog walks in sub zero temps, and everything in between, except for skiing :(.This carrier has been knocked over 2 ... MoreWe've been using the chariot for 3 going on 4 yrs now. We've taken this thing on countless bike trips around town, for dog walks in sub zero temps, and everything in between, except for skiing :(.This carrier has been knocked over 2 times, once from a dog while he was strapped in the sling. He was asleep and didn't wake up, and he never touched the ground while in the sling. The second time was hitting a bump with only one wheel while biking and again, strapped in never hit the ground through the panel.I'd like to thank the Thule team for making an amazing product that allows our family to actively go out and do things... and hopefully I can use those skis this winter.

Great stroller
2 February 2022

We purchased the Thule Chariot Cross to use as a stroller, bike trailer, and ski trailer. The design is really straightforward and smart. We haven't purchased the ski kit yet so I don't have experience using it there but the stroller/trailer wheels are great. Super smooth, good shock absorption, and easy to maneuver. The included sun/rain covers are a great addition. Our little one is still in the infant sling (purchased separately) and it has been great to get her out for slightly more sheltered walks this winter.

High Quality

This stroller rides very nice and smooth. We have a trail right outside of our house and take little walks on it. It’s seems comfy and stable for our 5 month old. While he doesn’t fit great in the straps, it’s good enough to keep him safe without any insert. He’s 14 pounds as a reference. The whole system seems high quality and rides nicely. We have a cheap Greco stroller and (not saying anything bad about Greco) but the difference is substantial.

Overall Great Product
23 July 2021

We've been using our Chariot Cross 1 for a few months now and overall love it. We've been using it as our main stroller and as a bike trailer. It's slightly bulky to get in and out of our garage but we're happy to have one product function in two ways. For the money, there are a few additional features I wish it came with - one is a cup holder! Why not just add one, ya know? It would also be great if it came with two bike attachments so both my partner and I can use it without having to dismantle part of our bike. One last feature that is on the European model but not this one is vented side windows. I really really wish this had that feature. The summer is so hot and it doesn't appear that we'll have any relief from this anytime soon...if it rains and you need to ... MoreWe've been using our Chariot Cross 1 for a few months now and overall love it. I know Europe is far superior in so many ways, but why can't we have nice things too?If you have an extra $1200+ laying around, don't hesitate to buy this! It glides so smoothly, all the features are easy to use/figure out and my kid LOVES riding in it.

Quality Equipment
29 November 2022

I've used the Thule Chariot as a jogger and bike trailer, carrying my 11mo daughter. The design is sleek, sturdy, and attractive. Minimalist in design, the cockpit is comfortable enough for her to fall asleep will traveling along a rural bike path. The unit travels straight, without any structural concerns when going over bumps or uneven surfaces. I'm impressed by the design and construction, and will consider the ski attachment.

The Best Trailer Money Can Buy!
16 April 2021

The Thule Chariot Cross trailer is INCREDIBLE. It's expensive, sure, but you get what you pay for. It looks expensive, feels expensive, and it has so many fancy little features for your child. My toddler loves riding in her "lay-ler" and asks to go on rides all the time. It takes me literally 10 seconds to attach or detach, is incredibly easy to switch to a stroller or fold up in the car, and the harness and suspension make for a super comfortable ride. My daughter loves stuffing snacks and her bottle in the side pockets, and I feel stress free knowing it's nearly impossible for her to chuck something out while we're riding. We can't wait to take it skiing next winter! Also, Thule products hold value, so keep that in mind when you're weighing which brand you want to ... MoreThe Thule Chariot Cross trailer is INCREDIBLE. Well built and high quality
7 June 2020

This item feels very sturdy as soon as you pull it out of the box. Simple to put together and provided a very smooth ride for the child. The model for 1 child is a bit more compact, so appealing to those like myself who live in the city and drive a smaller car. My daughter is 8 months old and sitting up, so she’s relatively comfortable. Your child really needs to be able to sit up on his/her own. I do not recommend using this to cycle with a child under 1 year of age, but the stroller/jogging features you can probably whenever your child starts sitting (or earlier with attachments possibly but I haven’t tried). I am looking forward to trying the ski attachment in the winter. We got 10% off from altitude and it was a great purchase. Will see lots of use
