I bought the Thule Chariot Cross 2 late July last year (2021). I started riding my bike again to get out of the house and get some exercise. My wife and I have 2 boys that are 16 months apart in age. Being trapped in our home during COVID was driving me insane especially with two kids one being 28 months and the other about to turn 2. I was going out to take a bike ride and my wife mentioned I should get one of those bike seats for my oldest son. That opened a whole world of different types of carrier's and I discovered the bike chariots. Some of price points varied from $200 - $300 and others were ranging $500 - $700. After researching and reading hundreds of reviews I decided I wanted the Thule chariot. I never imagined that I would ever spend so much money on a stroller. I was really taken back when I seen how much money they cost.Especially after we just bought a double stroller that wasn't much cheaper than the Thule and I absolutely hated it.I must say that it was the best investment I made going with tge cross 2! I absolutely love this thing and so do my kids. Thanks to our nanny it gets used every single day. The kids are so comfortable inside it literally takes 5 minutes before they are both passed out inside. I even found my son sleeping in it after playing in our backyard. He got sleepy so he went to the garage and passed out inside of it. The boys absolutely love when we go on bike rides and I love how light and smooth it rides. I was looking at other hitches but none have all the features this one has and all are much heavier. 5-10 lbs makes a big difference when you are pulling on a bike. If you can afford it, believe me it is well worth the money and you will not be disappointed! I hope they won't out grow it for a few more years! Plenty room for blankets in the winter time. You can also use the rain cover to block out the wind and keep them warm that way as well.

We purchased the stroller and some accessories (except the ski component). This has been a life changer. We have two kids about a year apart, and they both fit in great. We have the baby accessories that we have been using to support our youngest, while the older one easily climbs in and out of the stroller on their own. We were walking the other day and my oldest decided to stand up and get out suddenly. I didn't have the top cover zipped on, but because the stroller is so conveniently low to the ground, my child bonked his head on the ground but little damage was done! Thank you for creating quality equipment that has made our adventures even better!

Absolutely amazing

This is the second chariot we have purchased (a single lite, and double cross) for our 3yr old and 1 yr old twins. We use these absolutely everyday for walks, biking and skiing (both cross country and touring) in the winter. This is by far the best thing that I have purchased for my kids and I absolutely recommend to everyone. The safety of these are fantastic, the trailer was t-boned by another cyclist when I had my children in it, and it was flipped on the side. One was in an infant sling (absolutely necessary for up to 10 months), the kids stayed perfectly positioned and were safe, no injuries, just a few scared tears. The recline feature is fantastic for having kids nap in there.

Lightweight, smooth ride, excited for adventure!

We invested in a whole double Chariot set up - the ski kit, jog attachment, infant sling and chariot cross. Installation was a breeze, and the chariot cross is a very smooth ride. I was not expecting all of the additional storage options! The mesh on top allows visibility into the carrier which is great. I was nervous bringing it in/out of the house would be challenging but it fits just fine through a standard 36" door without needing to collapse.

Super high quality, thoughtful design

We got this stroller to replace our single Thule jogging stroller single Burley bike trailer after we had our second baby. It really is a great all in one for two littles. They love riding in it.It was easy to assemble and the construction and parts are clearly very high quality. My only real complaint is that the side panels are not permeable and hence don't ventilate; however, there is mesh ventilation in the rear. There is also a slight wrinkle across the top of the fabric where the handlebar connects to the frame; this could be improved in the next model probably and is only a cosmetic issue. There is plenty of storage. We switched to this from a burley and I was a little worried that we would miss the cargo space, but it makes total sense to keep the storage ... MoreWe got this stroller to replace our single Thule jogging stroller single Burley bike trailer after we had our second baby. It takes up most of a narrow sidewalk so that a companion can't walk directly beside the stroller. It would definitely be too wide to take into most shops and stores; we bring a bike lock to secure it while in a restaurant or at the gym.

The only stroller/trailer you'll need
4 May 2023

We absolutely LOVE our Thule Chariot. It literally does everything we need: ski, bike, stoller, and jogger. It obviously is built with Thule's quality and will last. It is a very comfortable ride for kids. It is great if you live in cold climates because the weather cover keeps little ones nice and toasty warm! I usually crack the corner cause it works so well. I wish I had know about multisport trailer's and gotten this when I had my first baby. I tell all my friends having babies to get one of these instead of a traditional stroller. We were able to get rid of our old stoller, jogger, & bike trailer in our garage and replace it with just this. It folds up nicely and stores with all parts zipped inside which also makes it great for travel.

I bought this for my grandchildren as I look after them a fair bit. I wanted something that they could fit into until school age my eldest granddaughter is 3 yrs old and tall and has plenty of room even sitting with her 2 yr old or 10 month old chunkier brothers. It is a little heavier than I expected as I have a bad back it’s a struggle in and out of car and does take up most of my CX5 boot. But it is a dream to push hands down the easiest stroller. We haven’t tried towing behind bike yet but I won’t be able to do it as the weight is to much for me. It’s a very strong well built and sturdy item. Kids loved it from the first time they sat in it. We sure made the right choice in buying this bike trailer earlier this year. It has had so much use with either my children or me taking 1 or 2 of the grandchildren along for bike rides. The unit is well-built, easy to pull and offers a very smooth ride.I also like the way the wheels and tow bar easily come off and store inside the unit and the way the unit folds up to make storing a breeze. I simply hang it on some hooks on the slatwall in my garage. And not to mention how it converts into a stroller.Congratulations to the designers at Thule on a great product.

Well made Stroller

We received this stroller last May for our 9 month old twins. We have used it almost every day on pavement and on dirt carriage trails as a jogger or bike trailer. There has been no wear and tear. The straps and seats are very supportive and they keep them upright. There is lots of leg room. There's an attachment that blocks the wind and sun which you can adjust up and down. The mesh screen is so nice for summer to keep the bugs out! There's also a plastic screen you can attach on colder days or when it's raining. I seen a comment about the inside getting to hot with the plastic cover due to lack of ventilation. I never take the kids out when it's raining so I never used the plastic cover for that. The only time I used the plastic cover is on a cold and windy day. It keeps the kids warm and they actually didn't need as many layers on. I could see them getting too warm if they had a lot of layers on. I feel like it was still ventilated due to mesh openings on the back of the trailer. The adjustable suspension is handy as well in terms of creating a smoother ride for our twins. Tons of storage! The only thing this stroller doesn't have is a split screen to keep our twins from fighting lol. We love every detail put into this stroller/ bike trailer and we are looking forward to using it cross country skiing this winter!
