Children and adults will enjoying riding these rails! My husband and I have as much fun as our 8 yr old riding round the country with this junior version of the ultra popular game. It is a great way to grasp the geography of our great nation, while having fun! While it looks complicated, it is very straightforward and does not take long to learn. I highly recommend this game for ages 6 to 10, but parents will have fun playing along. While the price is more than I normally pay for a game, I am so glad I invested in this great quality, fun, educational game!

My family loves this jr. Version of the Ticket to Ride game. My youngest is 7 and she's getting the hang of it. It's not too long which my family prefers games under an hour. Its instructions are easy to follow and up to four players can play.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 7 yr old grandson. He, his brothers ages 8 and 10, parents and I all loved playing Ticket to Ride Jr and did so several times over the holiday period. It was a lot of fun and the grandkids learned a bit of US geography, e.g. cities, coasts, what cities are known for, etc. I plan to purchase the regular version of Ticket to Ride for them soon since they enjoyed Jr so much. Having played Jr they'll be in a good position to move to the next, more complicated version.

We are big fans of TTR and have a few different versions. Our almost 6yo can play these without a lot of help. We bought this so our two kids could play together and to teach our younger child to play on his own. He picked it up easily given he already knew the basic idea of how to play. Playing without collecting points for routes is surprisingly fun. It's a straightforward and fun game, great to introduce younger player to the concept. We've enjoyed playing as a family and the two kids (5 and 10) can play on their own too.
Grandson loved it! He cottoned on much quicker than me and enjoyed teaching me. Need to think about strategies and also teaches about European cities. Great family game. A good introduction to the adult version, which has proved so popular.
We picked this game up to play with my nieces. This would be a first modern board game to try.It was a big hit for the 9 year old, the 6 year old wasn't interested in trying yet.We played a game and she's asked to play it every night since then.We're going to have to invest in card holders though. She can't hold the cards easily as game hand size grows.
It's a nice addition to the collection of the ticket to ride games. Perfect for little monsters. Mine (5 and 7) love it for the theme as they are huge fans of Halloween.I think as an adult I prefer the first journey as it is teaching you as well the geography and makes more sense when you pick a card where you have to build the route.As the other games it is appreciated that is it delivered with few extra floating boats in case you loose some.
I bought this version of Ticket to ride to introduce my 5 years old to boardgames and i am so happy he loved it. The game is very straightforward and accessible but it provides a lot of fun for the family. Together with simplified rules, the esthetics and the nice components make the game very applealing.
Instructions of the game were clear and easy to follow. It was strategic and competitive. My kids loved it and we’ve played a game a day since getting it for Christmas. Highly recommend! Great family game.
great game for our 7 and 10 year old! they can play it on their own and it keeps their interest longer than most strategy games for their age. we also play the grown up ticker to ride with them as well. this game made it easier for them to figure that version out! love it!
