Tiki Cat Variety Pack Luau Pate Adult Cat Food Can 80g-12PK

I have 3 extremely picky cats. All of them love this food to the point of crying to beg me to feed them. It isn’t perfectly “pate,” (if that’s your goal, mousse is probably the better option) but I add a little water and my cats, who normally struggle with eating chunky food, have zero problems. Love the ingredients, but it is quite pricy if you have a lot of cats.

Cat will not touch it

My cat, a recent stray rescue lives the tikis. But the package she smells and walks away. We even tried coating it with treats. But she will lick off the treats and not eat the rest. She prefers Friskies, Sheba, and even 9 lives. She never has a problem with the after dark or aloha tikis. She loves those.

Cats did not like these at all!

I was hoping for a different outcome. I previously purchased a different flavor of the Tiki Cat but neither of my cats would eat those so I gave them to the vet. I picked a different flavor hoping for a different outcome, but it was the same result. Neither of the cats will do more than sniff, then they walk away. Really disappointed. They both really love the salmon treat sticks so I hoped they would eat the canned food. Will not try a third flavor.

Disappoints even the least picky eater

I'll be honest, I saw the middling reviews for this product and figured they wouldn't apply to my situation because my cat loves food no matter the source, especially wet food. To the point I had to get microchip feeders just so that he would stop stealing all the food for himself, so when I say I expected him to gobble up this food, I really mean it. I feed him wet and dry food and he normally eats at least 75% of the can of wet food within 15 minutes of me filling up his food bowl.To my surprise, he dislikes this food so much he actually prefers to eat his dry food! Everything but the Chicken…

My cat seems to love chicken pate and was happily gobbling up chicken kibble in the shelter prior to being adopted. I did give him a couple smaller cans of the Tiki Cat succulent chicken pate which he seemed to like at first. Great for my girl

My girl cat seems to like this food. I found out that she is more of a seafood lover than poultry or other meats. Though, the food itself is good and what she didn’t eat, my other cat gladly finished off. The quality is good and I would highly recommend.

Murrlin sez Paws Down

If I were a cat, I would want my mom to feed me this. But Murrlin doesn't agree. I needed a grain free food to mix with his diabetic food and thought this might be good but he thought otherwise, so the Colony Cats got a real treat mixed in with their regular food (and I know they really appreciated it!)I don't think this is a bad food; it just wasn't something Murrlin was interested in getting acquainted with.

The Cats Like It

One of my cats is usually very picky, but he liked every flavor in here. Sometimes pates look a little scary to me with lots of little bone pieces or questionable meat colors, but these look really nice so far. I could see actual little pieces of chicken, and it all looked like white meat. They’re not as solid as some of the other pates we’ve tried, it is a bit more minced like the cans say. I will definitely repurchase!

Tiki PATE

Disappointed! Tiki used to have a good Pate for cats but now what they call "pate" is really just minced!!! My cats will ONLY eat PATE' & it is getting more & more difficult to find premium wet cat food in the REAL Pate' texture. I did find that my cats will eat the Tiki duck mousse stix formula as a topper but they won't eat the velvet mousse. Tiki, please go back to making the original Pate's for my cats?!?

love the texture, the flavors not as much

as w/the other tiki cat foods, my cats only seem to want the darker fish pates, rather than the lighter fish or chicken flavors. they like the texture, no question, but something about the lighter colored ones they just won't eat. now that we've tried the variety pack, I know which ones to get for them, at least, until they get tired of them and want something else. trying to get 5 teenaged cats to eat the same thing can be a hair-pulling experience, but finding out which ones they'll eat before buying a case can, at least, save some money. now that I know, I can buy the flavors they have decided they like with some confidence.
