The Maxi Cosi car seats are always good quality. Our original Maxi Cosi Mica was brilliant but the time had come for an upgrade, especially with another little one on the way. It’s a big old unit but solid and the quality is great again. Feels really soft and my little one is certainly comfortable. Given the amount of adjustability this will certainly last us a long time. Dead easy to install with it being isofix which in fairness is pretty standard these days. The belt buckles are slightly fiddly as they are definitely smaller than on the Mica. The release button is also a little bit fiddly in that it takes a bit of work to release but I suspect that is on purpose. The slight disappointment was with the recline options.

It seems like every time I need to change out my car seat they've come up with a multitude of different things that add to the quality of the seat themselves especially when working with Maxi-Cosi. This one in particular has a multitude of positions that the seat can be reclined too so if you feel like your child is falling asleep and they had running forward you can always tilt the chair backwards a little bit to ensure that they are more in a lying position than a completely upright position, it also has side impact protection which is great especially considering the fact that most recent cars have side airbags as well. I took a while to review car seats and exactly what I wanted from them and this was by far the best one I found. My son had out grown his baby seat and we needed the next size up but this exceeded that. It has 5 recline positions but to be honest I either use sitting bold upright if I don't want him to sleep or full recline. He loves it and the head rest is adjustable which is perfect. It has a tether that goes through into the boot of your car which if you watch these scary safety videos you 100% want your front facing car seat to have a tether. The seat is super easy to install and the straps are easy to tighten and loosen to suit. 100% recommend this car seat, I wouldn't bother looking for anything else.
We absolutely love this car seat! We had 2 Maxi Cosi Titan and upgraded it to Titan Plus. I have to say my favorite feature is the slight recline of this seat. I'd prefer slightly more reclining angle, but unfortunately there are only few of the car seats offering this option and it is not Maxi Cosi. When sleeping, my daughter's head rarely drops forward, so it is way more secure than sleeping in the upright booster. She sleeps comfortable and safe. My friend saw how great that feature was and ordered one right away for her 4 year old daughter too. I don't believe that when in a grandparent car you should just have "any old seat" as it's not used much. For me they are in a car so they need to be safe. I love how soft the material is- even after washing which was extremely easy to remove. My son loves his car seat and falls asleep on pretty much every journey we take. He looks comfy and secure. After touching cheaper car seats when out shopping, I found that you can feel the plastic through the cushioning and you can't feel any plastic through this car seat so gives me more peace of mind. The only slight negative that I have found is that I think the car seat should be able to recline slightly more as our baby's head can fall forward when he is sleeping sometimes even with the seat reclined. I don't feel worried about his breathing but it would maybe strain his neck slightly. Overall, I would give this car seat 4 and a half out of 5!
I bought this seat after having a baby seat from Maxi-Cosi. The quality is there however I purchased this particular model as it has the recline feature. The recline feature becomes redundant once fitted to the car correctly, using the top tether. On further investigation, it's not just this seat but all reclining seats that use a top tether. The top tether stops the seat from reclining as it would lengthen the top tether strap. It seems that to make use of the recline feature, you'd first have to loosen the top tether, recline the seat, then re-tension the top tether, which is much more of a faff than shown in the product videos.
We got this car seat when our daughter was 4 year old and she loves it. as She is a little fashion diva, she liked the style of the seat so much as well as the comfort when in it. we already had longer trips and she was perfectly fine for longer periods. Us as a parents like it because of how easy it is to use, although it was a bit of a work to install it in the first place, but no more hustle with seat belts every time. The car seat it self seems to be very sturdy and is quite heavy itself, good thing you don't need to lift it every time! easy to adjust the headrest, seat belts as well as change the tilt position. everything what a parent would want to. there was no booklet of how to hide harness belts, but everything was on the website here :)
