My 12 string guitar was found on its side with its headstock snapped off from the neck. Since this glue is recommended by guitar repairers as the best available to re-attach the two parts I bought it, hoping it would do the job. The headstock is under a lot of tension from the strings so I wasn't optimistic but it has worked perfectly and the guitar has stayed in tune, showing that there is no movement in the repair. Without this, a 200+ guitar would have been scrap.

holds wood well but is running. If it could be a 'thicker' mix so glue will stay more in place on wood instead of runs would be an improvement

Better than what I expected. I built a wood entryway table and used this Glue to attach the legs without a single nail.

My nephew had an accident and broke the neck off his electric guitar. Being an 'expert' I was given the task of fixing it. I needed a top quality wood glue, so I chose Titebond. It did the job easily, but then the hardest part of the job was to refinish the neck and make the join almost invisible. I would definitely use Titebond again.
My wife had several projects coming up that required the use of wood glue. Having used this glue in the past with good results made it an easy choice to buy. My wife has completed her projects and was very happy with the performance of the wood glue.
I appreciate the small size of this glue. I don't use wood very often and the glue in the larger bottles always gets hard before I can use it all. Very Good Glue.
I purchased this glue and when I started to sue it noticed some darker spots inside the bottle. When I tried to squeeze the glue out I first has some clear liquid and then the glue was so thick it could not be used. The next time I returned to Lowes I looked at the remaining Tite Bond glues and found almost the whole case of the 4 oz. glue had the same spots and the glue was all too thick to squeeze out of the bottle. I believe the glue had been frozen before it was placed on the shelf, either during shipping or in storage, but in any case, it was all damaged and should never have been placed on the shelf
Canβt beat the original. I find that no subsequent claimed improvements have materially improved the actual product to me in any normal application.
I have used the tite bond brand for years, on occasion I would try one of the new glues on the market and they are too messy or just virtually unusable. This is the only glue that I have found that is easy to work with and holds over time. Many other glues fail after 5 to 10 years. This one will last for the life of the wood. Easy to use and easy cleanup.
It sets quite fast (around 20-30mins depending on the temperature). But you cannot really stress it until a few hours. The bond is really strong after fully drying (which is a few hours-recommended 24 hours). I have tried breaking the bond, but usually the wood breaks before the bond even shows a sign of yielding.
