Tom Ford Tubereuse Nue Eau De Parfum 50ml

Weird, did I miss something because when did Tom Ford Eau de Parfum become this expensive? 350?? My only experience with Tom Ford fragrances is the Black Orchid, and for the same size Eau de Parfum, it is only 184. Is the bottle the reason for the price? It is beautiful, but so is Black Orchid, so not sure what is justifying the almost 2x price difference. The fragrance itself is pretty disappointing honestly.I love floral notes, but the tuberose in this just comes out and punches you in the face. It was all I could smell, despite there being other notes per the description. And surprisingly, this fragrance doesn't last very long. I think this smells expensive. It’s the exact smell you get when you stick your nose in a bouquet of flowers. If you love that smell and you love flower shops then I highly suggest this fragrance. White floral perfection. Heavenly fluffy, lactonic tuberose, brought closer to earth with subtle hints of Sichuan pepper, chocolate, and oud. Fortunately, I don't get anything negative here (plastic?!) that some others get. Runs pretty linear, it's true. But who cares as it's creamy, lush, opulent deliciousness from beginning to end. Speaking of end, this doesn't end until I wash it off. Nice projection for several hours than closer with lovely wafts here and there. Leaves a gorgeous trail in its wake. Makes me think of a Tuberose version of Shanghai Lily as it has the same vibe. I have a 10ml. now. I know I am going to need a bottle of this.

Then it slides right into a tobacco-woody kinda suede accord with a soft musk mostly on the vary bottom layer. The scent that I’m more partial to in this fragrance would be the soft musk. Overall the whole scent by itself is well balanced, pleasant light. It says fresh, clean springtime to me and reminds me of that ck-one a little bit at the beginning. The florals don’t overwhelm you which often can be a thing for me. However, note that does vary by how much you spray on. For me only 2 easy/gentle sprays. Overall for the price, it is not worth it, but Tom Ford has amazing fragrances in their collection, including Jasmin Rouge which I absolutely loved after trying a sample at Nordstrom!

I am not used to wearing strong fragrances but I decided to stay with it to see how it wore on me. I ended up only spraying one spray and dabbed my wrists to my neck, arms and body. Initially, I can smell the suede note which is quite interesting, followed by a powdery scent. After a few minutes, it begins to settle down into a floral scent. After wearing it a few times, I would say is a very grown sophisticated scent and it pretty much last all day, it becomes more faint, but definitely still there.
