Absolutely lobe the tonie box! My nephew just turned 2 and I got him one for his birthday. I know they say 3 and up but he loves his and his mom said he falls asleep to it everynight. He has every paw patrol character and loves listening to their stories while playing with his other characters! He's getting new tonies for every holiday from now on! The travel case is perfect and his mom is in the process of getting him the rocket shelf which she's very excited about!! We love screen free fun activities and this is perfect and the characters will change as he gets older so it's well worth the investment in the box! I got the headphones too but he hasn't used them yet they are more for when he's a little older on road trips!

I was very skeptical when I first considered purchasing a toniebox this past Christmas. I have 4 boys (1-7yrs) and between them being so rough on things and falling out of love with toys as quickly as we get them, I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the expense to just end up collecting dust in a corner a week later. However, I am so glad that I ultimately did make the purchase, because it is hands down my 3 year olds favorite possession. He will take it from room to room and collects all his tonies together in a bag to carry around with it. He is completely independent playing with it and will set it up to play in the background of whatever else he’s doing at the time. I recently just purchased some additional tonies for our youngest as he’s started to become interested in it as well. I’m also very pleased with how much new content is being added to the store on a regular basis, I feel like I can always find something that suits my kids interests to add into the rotation. For whatever reason it was a huge pain to set up initially and I had a bunch of trouble getting it to connect to our wifi, but now that it is I haven’t had to do anything with it since, so all’s well that ends well! Zero regrets, would purchase this again in a heartbeat!

For $100, the quality of the speaker in this system is utterly disappointing. It came out of the box fuzzy (sounding blown). Given the ability to make fantastic sounding, small speakers these days, this sounds like it cost all of $5. Second is the inability to easily skip songs (or to choose a song). You must “whack” the box to go to the next track meaning you may have to “whack” it 25 times to get to the song of your choosing. Last, is the fact that the vocalists in the frozen tonie’s we bought are not those from the movies. They sound totally different. Needless to say, I’m strongly considering returning this without even giving it to my daughter. We bought it for Christmas, however, so we’re going to see what she thinks.

Bought this for my 7 y/o.For context she is a DV survivor and has PtSD, I was looking for something to help her at night. She loves Tiny Chef, Carmen San Diego, and the Peppa Pig bedtime stories. She listens to these at night and falls asleep within 15 minutes. She’s now happy to go to bed, excited to pick out her character, and we also bought the bag and headphones so she can take it in the car with her.Her Tonie goes everywhere with her and she’s built quite the wishlist. The stories are great, there are plenty of character options, and the totable bag and headphones make it so convenient. It replaces iPad time and has only added to her already vivid imagination.I highly recommend.
We recently got the Tonie box and several tonies. I have mixed feelings. The positives: I thinks it’s a great idea and my daughter, who’s three, loves to switch between tonies. Shipping was fast. The set up was easy including adding content to the creative tonie. The not so good: Sound quality on a couple of the tonies is pretty poor. Volume is all over the place between tonies and sometimes even within the same tonie (some songs are really quiet). I like that you can set a maximum volume with the app but because some of the tonies are pretty quiet you can’t really utilize this because you have to really have the volume cranked up to hear the quiet songs. My daughter does not like the “Tonies Original” jingle at the beginning of original tonies and won’t let the Tonie play past that point. The functionality is clunky, you really have to whack the box to get it to advance to the next song. If you hit it too hard the Tonie flies off. I knew going into it that the Disney songs were not the original songs from the movie. Some of them are well done and others are pretty bad, in hindsight it might have just been better to load the original songs onto a creative tonie. One last thing, I’m not sure if I got a faulty box or if the battery life is really poor. I tried to turn the box back on after it being off and off of the dock for about 2 hours and it was already out of battery even though it was not in use over that period.
We just got this for our soon-to-be 3 year old son, but we’ve had one for our 6 year old since she was 3, and my husband and I both agree that it’s the best toy we own. If I could only pick one toy for my kids it would the the Tonie box/Tonies. The figurines double as toys. My daughter falls asleep listening to a Tonie every night, and she likes to listen to them while she’s in the bath, too. I am an English professor, and my one worry when I bought it was that it might make my daughter less interested in physical books, but it absolutely has not, and in fact, she likes to listen AND read the books at the same time (ex: she’ll listen to the Room on the Broom Tonie and read through our physical copy of the book while she listens). Is for my 3grandkids for Christmas so they have not heard it yet, but I myself listen to these Tonies at night. I have over 100 of them so I have a lot to listen to before I turn them over for Christmas. what we need with this app is the ability to see the level of this battery that’s the only downfall with this box as well as those little round displays that you set your box on on your ads, they need to be produced to be able to just set the tone on top of it, it matches the Toney box according to what I see and just let it sit there and play like a little stand without the charger that would be nice. Caught my attention, education, and I’m also been an audible subscriber for years and I have over 70 books in my audible so I love to listen to books a little bit ... MoreIs for my 3grandkids for Christmas so they have not heard it yet, but I myself listen to these Tonies at night. Caught my attention, education, and I’m also been an audible subscriber for years and I have over 70 books in my audible so I love to listen to books a little bit more for the older children , I hate to be the one to say this, but there are some children who have autism some with special education and this is a wonderful tool for them as well. This box could be played in schools story time to help out the teacher while she’s grading papers the little bitty children, Headstart, kindergarten first grade, could be listening to a story , so there you go . I’m too tired to comment on everything I purchased but if I purchased it, I love it so everything I purchased has a five star an above.
My child loves this toy which is why I gave it 4 stars. In my opinion the characters are too expensive. Not by much though. For 30-50 mins of content I would like to see them priced at $12-15. My biggest complaint though is that none of the Disney characters except Olaf have the correct voice. Literally the only reason I bought this was because my child loves Disney characters and songs. She immediately wanted to know why Rapunzel sounded weird. If I had read the reviews for the tonies prior to my purchase where other users said the same thing I would not have purchased. I know this is probably a liscensing thing, but it is a major set back for your company. When others ask about this product I tell them I would not recommend buying the Disney ones which puts them ... MoreMy child loves this toy which is why I gave it 4 stars. Tonie’s support is entirely unreachable… we received a defective box over a month ago (only works on the charger). We were disappointed, but went back-and-forth with support (slow) giving bogus advice to buy themselves time. After doing all they requested (troubleshooting, taking videos, leaving it on charger untouched for extended time), when it became clear, ours was a defective box, we were ghosted.Absolutely no attempt to make this right or replace the box. I haven’t heard back from support in weeks.DO NOT BUY DIRECTLY FROM THE COMPANY OR ANYWHERE THAT WILL NOT EXCEPT RETURNS QUICKLY. SHAME. I WILL CONTINUE TO LEAVE REVIEWS ON EVERY PLATFORM THAT SELLS TONIES.
My almost 2 year old loves her Tonie box. She can't sit through a full Tonie, but loves switching them out, dancing to the different songs, and being in control of what she wants to listen to. Our original Tonie box recently stopped working and the customer service is literally OUT OF THIS WORLD! Roberto was such a help and got the problem figured out within a day. He was quick to respond to emails, and even was able to replace our Tonie box. I could not recommend this company and product enough! It's also so nice to be able to ask for Tonies for birthdays and holidays - less clutter in our house vs the big toys, and it is something my daughter really enjoys!
