We have used and loved Tonies and our Toniebox for almost two years! When my daughter’s toniebox when on the fritz and the “ears” stopped working, I reached out in an effort to see if they would be willing to repair the volume buttons for us. The communication I received was amazing and they were very responsive, even on a Sunday, and in the evening! They had me send a video of the problem and quickly decided they couldn’t do anything. Instead of saying sorry, your loss, they replaced the whole thing!! By Tuesday I had a new Toniebox ordered. I have always recommended tonies to friends and family, but now I do even more so. So impressed with the company and their customer service, and love the products for my kids! Thanks Tonies!

Absolutely lobe the tonie box! My nephew just turned 2 and I got him one for his birthday. I know they say 3 and up but he loves his and his mom said he falls asleep to it everynight. He has every paw patrol character and loves listening to their stories while playing with his other characters! He's getting new tonies for every holiday from now on! The travel case is perfect and his mom is in the process of getting him the rocket shelf which she's very excited about!! We love screen free fun activities and this is perfect and the characters will change as he gets older so it's well worth the investment in the box! I got the headphones too but he hasn't used them yet they are more for when he's a little older on road trips!

I was very skeptical when I first considered purchasing a toniebox this past Christmas. I have 4 boys (1-7yrs) and between them being so rough on things and falling out of love with toys as quickly as we get them, I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the expense to just end up collecting dust in a corner a week later. However, I am so glad that I ultimately did make the purchase, because it is hands down my 3 year olds favorite possession. He will take it from room to room and collects all his tonies together in a bag to carry around with it. He is completely independent playing with it and will set it up to play in the background of whatever else he’s doing at the time. For whatever reason it was a huge pain to set up initially and I had a bunch of trouble getting it to connect to our wifi, but now that it is I haven’t had to do anything with it since, so all’s well that ends well! Zero regrets, would purchase this again in a heartbeat!

For $100, the quality of the speaker in this system is utterly disappointing. It came out of the box fuzzy (sounding blown). Given the ability to make fantastic sounding, small speakers these days, this sounds like it cost all of $5. Second is the inability to easily skip songs (or to choose a song). You must “whack” the box to go to the next track meaning you may have to “whack” it 25 times to get to the song of your choosing. Last, is the fact that the vocalists in the frozen tonie’s we bought are not those from the movies. They sound totally different. Needless to say, I’m strongly considering returning this without even giving it to my daughter. We bought it for Christmas, however, so we’re going to see what she thinks.

Bought this for my 7 y/o.For context she is a DV survivor and has PtSD, I was looking for something to help her at night.She loves Tiny Chef, Carmen San Diego, and the Peppa Pig bedtime stories. She listens to these at night and falls asleep within 15 minutes. She’s now happy to go to bed, excited to pick out her character, and we also bought the bag and headphones so she can take it in the car with her.Her Tonie goes everywhere with her and she’s built quite the wishlist. The stories are great, there are plenty of character options, and the totable bag and headphones make it so convenient. It replaces iPad time and has only added to her already vivid imagination.I highly recommend.

The set up was easy including adding content to the creative tonie. The not so good: Sound quality on a couple of the tonies is pretty poor. Volume is all over the place between tonies and sometimes even within the same tonie (some songs are really quiet). I like that you can set a maximum volume with the app but because some of the tonies are pretty quiet you can’t really utilize this because you have to really have the volume cranked up to hear the quiet songs. I tried to turn the box back on after it being off and off of the dock for about 2 hours and it was already out of battery even though it was not in use over that period.
Our granddaughter has had her Tonie about 4 years and it still works great! I just bought a second for her little sister as the older 5 year old still loves hers and they use it frequently. Plus new Tonie "guys" make great gifts for them!You charge the box and they can take it anywhere. Our two most used places are Quiet Time and long Car Rides.The study magnetic "guy" just sit on top and kids (1, 3, and 5 yrs ) can pick and play what and when they want.Some Tonies are just songs while others are stories - though I think each story also has story related songs.The speaker and voices are good quality - so not obnoxious for adult ears!The prices have gone up, but there are good sales and we find them more available at stores like Target.
Where to begin... we had such high hopes for this Toniebox! Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to skip to the next song. So much so, that my husband and I can only get it to work after three or four taps. This means my son listens to the same one (or often 30 seconds of one) song over and over before changing out the character. Speaking of characters, WHERE did they find these singers?? Even my 2 year old can tell that flat off key voice isn't Maui, or Elsa. Overall a cool idea but disappointing how it was implemented. Should be much more user friendly with higher quality music - and selection of characters/songs! - for the price. Would not recommend.
