This set is great value and very comprehensive. I’ve only used a handful of the pieces so far and my first impression is that the quality seems reasonable. Some advice to first timers is to use plenty of lube and to take your time.

I've needed this tool for some time now and have finally purchased a set. Its a good tool to have in the garage ready for the call to duty. Great to re-tap auto threads.

The tools are great. However, the quality of the metal container box is not great, specially the clasps. I can see them failing in a near future
First toolpro product I purchased I wasn’t happy with. Poor tap and dye kit, first thing I noticed is the case it came with has dodgey opening clips. Secondly the tap and dye holder/drivers are poor quality and hard to work with in particular the dye holder. Way better quality / better equipped kits out there for under $200. Wouldn’t recommend this set.
Poor quality and does not cut threads, only good for cleaning threads. I had to buy a better quality die to cut the thread
Whilst I haven’t yet had an opportunity to use this tap & die set I was very pleasantly surprised and happy with the visual quality of the set both the size range and look of the tools definitely look worth the money and the steel carry case with good quality retaining mould and plastic see through cover over the top of them keep them firmly in place as well as the lifetime warranty and I hope it’s a genuine lifetime warranty I’m extremely impressed with it and would be surprised if it doesn’t work as well as it looks I would have bought another set for my son who is a mechanic and uses this gear regularly and he said to me why didn’t you tell me about them dad ? I purchased this product about 6 weeks ago, a waste of money, Tap broke just cleaning up thread, in a hard to get spot so removing the broken tap was not easy
Awsome set worked a treat on my first evey tap can wait to use it again as its so annoying to strip threads byt glad i now have a set to do the job next time round
i have had mine dor a while i grabbed mine when club special, im a maintance fitter so i know whats good and whats bad. I have no hesitation saying without doubt its the best kit on the market hands down if your after a tap and die kit this is the one to get all Toolpro tools are made by stanley/sidchrome thats by it self should give you an idea about qulity my whole tool kit is toolpro and value for money is great
Went to use today for the 1st time and snapped the 1st tap. Drilled correct size hole and used cutting oil however tap still snaaped
