This thing is awesome .. for an outdoor access point whatever you need it for and dont want to pay big prices get this its great .. my use was to connect a network of cctv cameras to a recorder with no wired connection and have tried a number of different aps that are supposed to be able to do the job this was the only one that did it and did it quickly easily no fuss

We bought this router for our computer man to fit outside as we wanted WiFi across our yard less than 20m into a open building. It has poor signal at or after that point. It definitely will not penetrate walls at any distance. To top it all it would nt plug in and go for some reason.

Sorted out my caravan site WiFi problem. Set TP-Link to "Bridge Mode". Now have a full signal sequred WiFi link. The signal to the TP-Link is just about 3/4 outside & 1/4 inside my caravan. With the TP-Link I now have a full WiFi signal all over
Pros: Easy to set-up, flexible range of wireless uses.Cons: I would like an attachable stand so it could be positioned free-standing other than strapped to a pole.

Works a treat, easy to install. Plugged into the router and added the power, ran a lan wire out to the garden and hey presto. About 10 minutes setting up via the interface. Some technical skill needed as the instructions are basic.

Used to receive a wifi signal from a hilltop a few hundred meters away. Excellent, stable connection.
Good price, product is good easy to install, configure.. the only thing I would say is if you can afford to get the next one up with 5ghz youll get better speeds. Overall a really good product with good coverage.
